A studio at OKW next January???

Hi All--

I think I should be okay but I thought I'd ask to be sure.

MS always advises booking your home resort 11 months in advance to make sure you aren't homeless and then switching your ressie at 7 months.

But what I want to book is a studio for the last 2 weeks of January 2004. Should I book VWL (my home resort) and change it at 7 months or is it highly unlikely that I will be unable to get a studio at OKW at that time?

What would you do?

It depends how much you want to gamble. If you want to know for sure you've got a place, book your home resort and then switch. Two weeks is a fairly long period of time to book a studio and you may not get it all on the first call at 7 months. Wait list may put it all together for you. You might want to have the option of a full week at VWL and a full week at OKW.

The chances are great you will get what you want for the time you want it. If you can, I'd still reserve what you want at your home resort. If that means borrowing points you won't need if OKW comes through, just make as many days as you can for about the same or less points. Still I don't think it's much of a gamble as long as you book at 7 months out.
