A student I had passed away

I work in the media center at a local high school, and we have seniors that are scheduled as aides. This past year in my 6th hour, a student named Derrika, was a close student of mine. I just found out today that she had passed away on friday in a car crash!! If I remember correctly, she was about to go to FAMU!! I am so upset!! She was too young to die. I wish I knew more about what happened.

I am so sorry......it is so hard when we lose young ones to accidents.. Take care.

I too have lost students to car accidents. Just horrible.
