Me too Dee - I'm getting really sick of rain and so are my zucchinis.

I had a Hyundai Scoop a few years ago - I loved that little car. Some woman made an illegal left turn right in front of me one day and my little Scoop was totaled

My younger son lives in Pittsburgh and my dh's family is from north of Pittsburgh. Makes for some interesting football games in our house since I'm from Baltimore.

so back to PTR plans:

Seems like life just keeps getting in the way of plans..again how I dislike that word because inevitably they seem to fall through lately Shoes, teeth ?

Having had wonderful insurance in NY I had started long overdue dental work BUT this was in 2008 a few months prior to finding the house here in FL At the time I had 2 "temporary" crowns/caps whatever you call them put in that's now over 5 years ago, "temporary" lasted a long time

Without insurance and no way to pay OOP its been neglected this week one of the crowns is loose, real loose, hanging by a thread Difficult to eat and is not going to be pretty when it falls out OR I finally yank it due to pain :scared:

Shoes also painful having purchased expensive running shoes, and having them actually fitted for my feet all other cheap shoes are causing pain in toes, and calves after hours on my feet The running shoes don't come in solid black Now I need to find something for work

Fred is wearing his shoes down too so will probably need new work boots when he comes home Looking at close to $100 there :crazy2:

Can't win, something will have to go ...just have to decide what :confused3

What size does your DH wear my DH has some extra new ones but I think he has small feet for a guy he wears 9 and a half. If perchance the right size I could send them to you

OH NO! Ruthie, I am sorry. this stinks. I wish I could help. Locally we have a "teaching" dental school that will do the work for less $. Honestly, I am so chicken of dental work I won't go there, but I know some have had a great experience for 1/2 the price. Is anything like that available around you?
I'm sorry your feet are getting spoiled now. ;) And that Fred needes updated boots. I know they can be sooo expensive. My son likes to wear his on a daily basis & I keep telling him to only wear them when he NEEDS them, because we are NOT buying him another pair for a long time!
I hope everything works out for you two to be able to keep the ADR's and do the other neccessasry....updates. ;)

Please let us know how everything works out for you.

Hi Dee when I was a kid we had the teaching Dental schools in NY and that is the first thing I thought of here, so far NO luck with the ones I contacted there are a few other schools I still have to try I don't xcare if I have to drive to Miami I'll go, will gladly be a test patient ;)

I contacted my county for low cost but unless you are on state assistance, have a drug or alcohol problem, or have children you are pretty much hung out to dry The low cost "clinics" based on income are only for basic cleaning, x-rays that sort of thing :sad2: Then of course yesterday I got the "friendly reminder" postcard for the dogs vet or as she wrote out the card "The Gang" :lmao: so here we go again ....and I caught Maxine scrapping HER teeth on the railing of her stall YEP time for a dental for her too! I don't care if we eat jelly sandwiches we are at least going to POP and I will be the first one & the last one in the pool :cool1:

Hi Tess...ah the rain tell me about it ALTHOUGH today has been gorgeous right up until about 1 pm now we are at it again :sad2: I cannot stand it the odor of wet dog, the mud in the yard, the grass that grows an inch every day Uhh! How is Kat ? need update please

Happy Independence Day Everyone.

 For everyone - and especially you Ruthie..Besides the possibility of cancelling super dinner plans, dental agony and shoe woes, you have wet dogs and crazy growing grass.

I'm not going to complain about our 1.5 days of rain around here. We've been unusually pleasant this summer. But that might be because we're stuck between stupid hot heat and gully washer central. prayers for those in either of those places as well.

I just wanted to drop by and say hi! Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July. I will be headed up to PA next week to see Mom so I probably won't be posting much. I'm going to try to follow some on my phone but Mom likes to keep me busy so there may not be much time!

Hi Ruthie! Just checking in to say hello. Temps here are pretty high. in the 90's but they are saying feels like 103 due to himidity. We only have a/c in the upstairs bedrooms, so I trying to keep the computer/tv, etc off.
Hope resolutions to problems are peeking through.
Dee

Thank you Alison..If I say I am going to do something I will move heaven and earth to do it so I EXPECT the same..between this guy & the guy who caused the accident on the whole I am disgusted with people in general....keep thinking I forgave the guy and then someone else does something and I am off on another emotional roller coaster...& then the damn snake HIsssss I have had enough since last November frankly anyway enough about it

.did you get my answer about the sausage you asked about ?
I don't even know where I answered it anyway NO I have never seen that brand here in FL if there is something comparable either the grocer should recommend maybe? or Bobbi or I can get something since we'll both be making store runs let me know

I know what you mean on the whole first paragraph, but I am so embarrassed!

I don't know what happened, but somehow, I must have on my stupid "smart" phone :badpc: unsubscribed myself from this thread. (I do it often, the button for read last unread is so close to unsubscribe, it happens more often than I care to admit). But I figured out that I am like 10 pages behind. I need to start at page 45 (note to self).

I am way too tired to catch up tonight, but I did see your note about the sausage, so I will figure out a different brand. I didn't think you had Farmer John since they make it in LA. It's not important what brand (although it may taste different than I am used to). So what do you guys have there, isn't it something like "bob Jones" sausage or something like that? I'm going to use We Go Shop and they pick up what you ask for at the grocery store, you give them a list and they buy it and deliver it to you. Since this is for the first night, I wouldn't ask you, or Bobbi (who doesn't arrive until Wednesday). Stuff for the cookout that might perish before then, I might ask you to get, but I think I'm good for most everything to come via We Go Shop and then I can make stuff between Thursday and Saturday so as not to be totally rushed on Saturday.

I will catch up over the weekend, but it's been crazy here! :clown:

Gotta do what you can!!! hahaha :goodvibes

Been very busy around here but I hope you are doing well!
