So I went down that rabbit hole of the world's fair and ended up at the imagineering sight and the "then and now" photos of Disneyland and WDW. Whew! That's an hour I'll never get back! But is was fun to see. Also the photos of River Country. Creepy now photos!

Okay, I'll keep trying for the earlier ADR. It will either work or not, and I don't mind trying. That date is carved out for our meet, so that at least won't change!

You and Ed are getting a bit feisty! And I don't think "old age" has anything to do with it, since I'm older than you and probably Ed as well! While I can appreciate the art of tatoos, I'm just not a real fan of them. Some are stunningly beautiful, but so is the human body as is. I'm glad you're good with your daughter's tattoos, Ed, and if mine got any, I would be okay too. Just not for me.

Hope the weather clears up for you guys soon. We're getting it here too, but maybe not as much? Just enough you can't plan anything outside for about a week now.

Raina, what part of Ohio is your mom from? I live in Ohio, the Akron area. Maybe we're neighbors!

Only about 2 1/2 hours away. Our son lives in Toledo and his wife's sister lives in Findlay. Beautiful and quaint little town.

Whew, finally caught up! You guys were chatty this weekend. I was pretty busy and didn't make it onto the DIS at all.

Friday I had to run my Sierra to the vets. The inside of her ear was all torn up and goopy. I'm wondering if the squirrel she killed Tuesday got a piece of her. The vet gave me an antibiotic cream and it looks much better now.

Then Friday DH and I went to see my favorite group, Straight No Chaser. Awesome concert. If you haven't heard of them, check them out on you tube. They are an a cappella group.

On Saturday after I got home from the animal shelter I spent time packing because I'm headed up to PA to visit Mom next week! I mostly packed and cleaned on Sunday and worked on our February 2014 family trip. With my cousin getting married during the trip it's looking like we will have close to 40 people there! I'm doing the planning for six of us right now. Got to get these people nailed down because our ADR date is August 12th.

Hope you're feeling better this morning Lois My oldest DD got 2 tats and didn't let her father know until about 10 years later, younger one got 2 also (very small) and same story Girls and old school old world fathers (he was born in Sicily) me, no opinion really

Don't know if Ed and I were "feisty" this weekend, probably just cabin fever and hurting due to weather, passing the time on the Dis

Her ear is doing so much better. It's mostly scabbed over now. I think it would be completely better if Alex didn't insist on licking it. We tried to keep him away from her all weekend but he is sneaky!

I think two of our ADRs for the trip are going to be Le Cellier and O'hana so yea, ADR day is going to be interesting.

I'm sitting her watching a huge storm pass over right now and it's supposed to rain all week. They've already issued a flash flood advisary for our County. Only good thing to that is fewer fireworks to scare the dogs. Eddie is particularly sensitive to them.

If you ever get a chance to see them in person, DO IT! They are so much fun to watch, I don't think I stopped laughing the whole time. For example, during the first song they did, some people were still coming in. In the middle of the song, Jerome yelled "you're late" at them! This one was probably the funniest from the whole concert (not actually from the concert I was at but the same one they did):

That video was so fun! Youtube is another rabbit hole I go down. Also watched and loved the one of the 12 days of Christmas. I've heard them sing it, but it was fun to watch them do it. Thanks for sharing. And if they come close, I'll be sure to go.

We live about 2 hours west of Pittsburgh and pass through to get to our family in Virginia every couple of months. It's great you have a chance to visit.

Yep, you can easily get lost in their videos on you tube! Did you know that's how they got their start? The guys went to college together in the 90s. One of them posted a video on you tube and Atlantic Records called and said get the group back together we want to sign you!

I am in Findlay ,but not a native of ohio have only lived here about 13 years. I grew up in Las Vegas but was born in Neb and have lived all over the world. Raina also has lived quite a few places around the world. Although she didn't get to korea with us, she stayed with my mom that year.

I loved that car, can still hear the commercial saying Hyundai rhymes with Monday lots of people said they were crap because they were cheap & made in Korea had bad rep for dying with not many miles I had mine over 200,000 miles actually most of family got into Hyundai we had Accent, Elantra then Santa Fe never a problem

Very cool. I guess the years just fly away. It doesn't seem that long ago they introduced this new line of cars. My bff had a hyundai, they had no complaints except the noise inside from the outside. She said is wasn't too bad, except on the highway. Over 200,000 miles?! That is incredible!

Ruthie, I too don't want to wish my life away. However, I find I AM wishing the summer away. I keep starting to say yay it is only 48 days away, then I pull my excitement in because that means it is only about 57 days before my sweetheart goes back to school. I am really torn. I will enjoy each day as it comes, knowing I have tomorrow to look forward to. And... tomorrow never actually comes, so I always have it to look forward to. God willing & the creek don't rise.

Well, I am soon to go back to my DIY. It's taking me longer than usual. But, I will keep plugging along.
