Do not be afraid of food at Tusker It was fantastic Pluto landed on Fred when I picked him up off the floor and tossed him over there amazingly the canine crew here know which Plutos they are allowed to play with and which they are not, this one is a "No Touch one" but why tempt fate ?

Love the Pluto bag - it reminded me that I have a Tigger backpack I should take on my next trip. Got him in Animal Kingdom years ago! Glad you had a good time and nice to see that you did get the wheelchair. Sometimes we just need to do what we need to do.

I'm out getting oil changed before a few day trip to a lake town (Trasverse City) about 5 hours away. Forecast is cold and rain! I'm expecting warm and sunny! We will see who is right?

I want to hear all about it Ruth I LOVE day trips and thanks for mentioning the oil change my car is WAY over over due !

I'm looking forward to meeting Fred in October. Hope you pass on that message that I'm counting on him being there....not just for MNSSHP but for the cook-out on the 5th as well.

I hope they have some answers for you for your leg pain. It could have caused the bursa in your hip to become inflamed which would cause that kind of pain. You are so right, though, time is what you need. Glad the shoulder is doing better. I wish Mickey could sprinkle pixie dust on it and make you all better. Right. Now! Hang in there, sweetie. We havent done MNSSHP in a very long time. We may have to consider that time of year for our next future trip.

I got like 7 pages behind due to a busy weekend and then two days of boring classes for work. I hate when work interfers with my DIS time! The thread kept me entertained and distracted from work for the last hour or so.

Despite some setbacks it sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. I hope things go well at the doctor tomorrow.

Oh and I need that Pluto bag for my Pluto room!!!! Off to Ebay now to see if I can find it.

Actually Alison quite the opposite, what was really rough was him coming home When a marriage is so riddled with problems, (or any relationship really), that all communication has stopped and genuine apathy has set in; no you don't want the person around and that person doesn't want to be around and when you're thrown together the stress level eventually rises

Without going into everything the 6 months he couldn't be here was a blessing in disguise Yes I got hurt in that time, yes I lost 2 beloved pets and was here by myself Had he been here, in the state the marriage was in, I would have been here by myself anyway KWIM ?

In that 6 mos with much prayer and support we have a marriage again, new & improved The whole purpose really of even starting this report is one of gratitude Now though coming home every approx 90 days is pretty common in the trucking industry You do what you have to do, with this economy there is no local driving job that will pay so there is no choice We're good

Military families go through much longer seperations My own dtr was in Afghanistan and when she was stateside her DH was deployed (for the umpteenth time) to Iraq Life goes on


On a lighter note I am glad that he will meet you all too and as far as the tri tips maybe I can chip in $$ and we should get THREE I mean the man eats like, well honestly..... like a truck driver

I'm glad that you have worked it out and things are better. Fran and I spend almost every hour of our lives together, so being apart would be difficult. We have also had our share of challenges, but we are working things out as well.

It's not the $$$'s I'm worried about. I'm putting these in my suitcase, so it's more of a space concern. I've got about six pounds of meat. Since two of the folks don't eat meat that leaves eight who will be enjoying the tri tip. I think we should have enough. I can't even eat a 1/4 pound of meat, plus with all the other stuff, we should be good!

I don't watch scary movies, just crime scene dramas on TV. I think just about anyone could tell the difference between a trimmed piece of meat from the supermarket and a body part! Especially if they still had their price tags and stuff on it!

Believe me I watch plenty of CSI, NCSI, etc and a piece of tri tip won't be passed off as a human body part!
