Honestly Ed a damn disaster..not going into it now, some of the day had wonderful moments but problems I did not anticipate ( do we ever ? ) have now come up and will make a very hard next few weeks ( maybe more)

Then I came on here to "relax & de-stress" and got aggravated that's it I guess I don't have a sense of humor

I will probably be accused of not being able to take a joke, taking things too seriously, acting holier than thou, I don't know, personally I don't care

If I don't feel comfortable enough to speak up at this stage of life and let things go on just to keep peace, and pretend to just laugh it off than I'm not being true to the person I want to be and to the God I serve

There I said it, I'll be accused of discussing religion I am not discussing it I am stating the importance of my faith to the core of who I am

It is a fact just the same as if l state that I am 5'4" and have brown eyes As surely as I tell you my age or the fact that I am heterosexual and married If I was homosexual I would tell you that

If you really know me then you already know what is important to me If you don't know me and are just lurking I felt the need to say it Otherwise who I say I am is a lie

I feel comfortable here, I have many friends here and people that care about me and that I care about But I have to speak up If I continue to bite my tongue and let things slide how is that any better than in a office setting I laugh along or silently condone what I find offensive

We have no control in life, ultimately what happens to us physically, healthwise, financially, etc How we are treated by a boss or a neighbor sometimes makes no sense and we are powerless to do anything about it I struggle with that and I pray about it

Sometimes we are disrespected but I won't tolerate it here This is my little place to share I have left page one the way it was (except for changing plans) from the start More for my sake than anyone else's

I could have died. That's a fact Maybe it was a second chance to evaluate what is important in life Maybe it happened so that I could start being a little more vocal about my beliefs Whatever the reason I am trying to live life differently

I'm not going to be subtle or quiet about what I find acceptable and what offends I have tried over and over to say what I wanted here and what I didn't The sexual innuendoes and not so subtle references are not acceptable I say I live a Christian life it's time to act like I do

If this sounds judgmental I am sorry you ( collectively/generally) are taking it that way Its not Take it anywhere you want, the community board, your reports, other peoples reports, your backyard or local hangout in real life but its not wanted here

Perhaps the next sound will be a stampede of feet heading out of here, or maybe it will be clapping of hands because I am taking a stand It doesn't really matter to me, I'm not looking for either I have accomplished what I wanted to and will no longer struggle when I shut down the computer with "How should I have handled this?" or "I should have said something" ..that's what I have been putting myself through Its now done Hope you will stick around if not well...I'm moving on, subject closed

So, on to other things........ My mom and I have decided to take that mini trip in March and I would love your suggestions. I was originally trying to do it as a secret but that just did not work out. We will of course wait to see what kinds of discounts there are at that time. This will be a long weekend trip 3 or 4 days without park tickets. We just want to check out the resorts and DTD, eat some good food and relax (and get a little bit of our disney fix!!!! ) But this needs to be a DISCOUNT trip, so we will take a minimal amount away from our big trip in Oct.

Yay! two trips in one year....I'm so excited

my favorite Value resort is POP (not the cheapest) but I personally wouldn't stay
at an All Stars Resort Plenty of time to figure it all out

I have stayed at All Star Sports and it was not bad at all. I have stayed at POP more and agree with Ruthie. POP is more fun for me. It is also just a few minutes to walk over to Art of Animation which has a much better food court. Better quality in my opinion. I may be wrong but i thought they were remodeling the food courts at the All Stars one at a time.
