I just couldn't believe this lot when it happened today!!
It's mine and Robert's three year anniversary on Tuesday....The plan for our anniversary was we would buy each others presents on the day as we're going to the Metro Centre for the day.... But when we split up in the shops today, I headed to GAME as I wanted to buy him a surprise for the morning of our anniversary.... I bought him a game and then headed to the card shop... I picked up a card and went to pay for it, and the guy behind the counter said: "You don't go out with a guy with long dark hair do you?" When I said I did he pulled a face and said: "Well, I probably shouldn't tell you this, but he's just been in and bought the same card for you.".... I laughed and went and picked a card up with two elephants on it and went and paid. We then met up again and he found out about the game because he mentioned something about it being a bit bland in a shop and my face fell.... He instantly knew I'd bought it. By this point I was a bit annoyed and stormed into the Pandora shop to buy something to push my annoyance aside.... I picked up a little elephant charm and Robert's face fell when I said I might buy it. Then he had to fess up, he'd bought me the elephant for a surprise present for Tuesday.... We left the shop (I didn't buy in the end!) and went into Sainsburys, where we were talking about how I knew which card he'd got. He then said: "Well, if I hadn't got you that I was going to get you this cute card with two elephants on it..." I nearly passed out!!! Ha ha!!
