Since VMK was closed all morning (And since I'm waiting behind 306 people in line for the maze. Well, Now it's not working yet again.), I found something else to do. I decided to start writing a big long story about VMK. However, I don't think that I have enough material to work off of in order to make it book-size. So I would like some help! I would prefer 5 older teens or adults to help. What I'd like you to do is write a story about a made up person with a fake first and last name, having an age between 8-14 (VMK's target age group), and also have it use your actual VMK screen name (Just to make things interesting lol). Write a story about how they got trapped in the Virtual Magic Kingdom. How the kid signed up for VMK and woke up the next morning physically living inside VMK and doesn't know get out. Being an actual 3-D character in the animated world of VMK. You know what I mean? You'd have to write around 5-6 chapters about your character. That's all. But we'd have to write it one chapter at a time, So we'd know where the story is heading. If you're interested in helping me write this, Please say so below and also PM me. This should be so fun if we do it right!!!

Here's the first chapter (This is about how long each chapter should be, Maybe even a little longer.):

(I just edited it to make it a little longer, I didn't realize how short it was originally)

Claire
I was so excited that Monday morning. It started out just like every morning. I woke up, had a bowl Froot Loops, and wished a good morning to my parents and siblings. However, that particular morning I was at a fancy suite in the heart of Florida. That’s right, That fine Monday morning I was going to visit Disney World for the first time. I know that I’m 14 and kids that age aren’t supposed to be excited about what most of their teenage peers call “a little kiddie place with a bunch of dumb rides”, but I, Claire Winters, am not the usual teenager. I’ve been a Disney fanatic for almost as long as I can remember. In fact, once I learnt to talk, I couldn’t stop chattering about Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, and all my other favorite Disney characters (My family owns all the movies and the cartoons, so Disney was instilled in me at quite a young age).
Anyways, back to my story… Me and my family were all ready to go to the parks with our fanny packs around our waists and water bottles on hand. So we got in the car and went straight to Magic Kingdom. After slipping into a parking spot, walking the entire distance of the parking lot up to the tram, waiting in a long line for the monorail, having all our bags checked, waiting in yet another line while we were stuck behind some lady who couldn’t figure out the biometric finger scanner, and my sister’s pass not scanning right, We were finally there!
Standing at the entrance of the park, I could see Cinderella’s castle. Here, all my childhood wishes of BEING AT DISNEY WORLD were starting to come true right in front of my eyes. So logically (And like what every other tourist does), my family and I headed up towards the big landmark that we’d only seen in commercials and vacation planning videos. We just happened to make it up to the castle just in time to watch the second showing of Cinderellabration. Such a fantastic show. The beautiful and absolutely breathtaking dresses, all the Disney princesses, the oh so handsome princes, I almost got goose bumps watching the whole thing. After the twenty minute show had ended, we made our way around the park.
Starting in Adventureland, we rode Pirates of the Caribbean (Cute little ride), heard the corny jokes told on Jungle Cruise (They were funny once, but my brother kept repeating the jokes all day. Needless to say, they‘re not so funny anymore.), and since my dad was hungry for ice cream, we stopped at one of those food stalls along the walkways and had the most amazing pineapple ice cream. Talk about de-lic-ious!
We then headed to Frontierland. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was a favorite with my younger brother. Me and my mom were the only one brave enough to ride Splash Mountain. Even though I had a blast on the ride, I think my mom was little on the ”I’m-never-doing-this-again” side. She didn’t exactly say that, but the look on her face said enough for me to get that feeling.
Fantasyland was next on the agenda. My little brother and little sister were thrilled about this part. They were the happiest I’ve ever seen them riding all those old-fashion Disney rides. They even loved the “it’s a small world” ride. Who in their right mind loves that ride? I’m okay with all the other rides in Fantasyland (In fact, I think that they’re really fun, but you won’t ever hear me tell anyone that), but “small world“? All that monotonous singing and rooms and rooms dolls is enough to give me a nightmare.
The Toontown Fair was a little too kiddish for me. My younger siblings loved it though. At least I got all my pictures with Mickey and Cinderella. Which was one of the top things on my I-want-to-do list, so I guess it’s all cool.
Tomorrowland was by far my favorite section of the park. Space Mountain (Talk about some serious fun), the Buzz Lightyear ride (Out of my whole family, I won. If I hadn‘t won, I don‘t think I would‘ve liked the ride as much), Astro Orbiter (Even though the height kind of freaked me out), Stitch’s Great Escape (Okay, some people hate that ride, but I thought it was kind of fun), Tomorrowland Transit Authority (A very relaxing ride if I do say so myself), they’re all such great rides.
By the time we got done touring the park and riding as many rides as we possibly could, it had gotten dark and was time to watch Wishes. That had to be the best fireworks show I’ve ever seen in my entire life. No Fourth of July I’d ever seen could measure up to it. No joke.
While we were waiting on the crowds to die down from Wishes, we wondered around through the shops on Main Street. Halfway down the row of shops, I saw a movie theatre-like sign that said “VMK Central” and asked my parents if I could take a look at what that meant. Once in the store, I asked what VMK was. Turns out it is an online version of Magic Kingdom where you can play games with other Disney fans that are actually your age. I immediately decided I ought to sign up. I mean, what’s better than a major hangout at MAGIC KINGDOM with people who are MY AGE and are also DISNEY NUTS just like myself!?! I dived beside the check-out counter where the only empty computer was and started to fill out the registration form. Then popped a screen where I got to choose what I would look like on the game. Not at all keeping accurate with my real appearance, I made myself have short purple hair (Sure the rest of me was accurate -the small eyes, pale skin, short appearance- but I wanted to bring up the one thing that wasn‘t). It also asked for my on screen name. Hmm, that was a little difficult . I tried many different things, but none of them were available. After many attempts I found one it accepted, WaltIsMyHero, That name fit me perfectly.
I was entering into a virtual world of magic that would fill me with happiness (Or so I thought) without actually having to be at the Walt Disney World.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into…
