Isn't that the point of the omelette - eggs with stuff in it - otherwise wouldn't they just order steak or cut up steak.

One time at a Mexican place I wanted to order an egg and potato burrito without the eggs - basically a potato burrito - and was asked "how you do that?" This post reminded me of that except I can see the point of no egg in the burrito I just can't see the point of no egg in the omelette

I was with my veg sister when she ordered this at a McDonald's...it took the guy awhile to ring it up and then he tried to charge her EXTRA for not putting on the meat.

I had something similar happen at a Thai restaurant. I ordered something and asked for no onions or bean sprouts, extra egg instead. The nitwit tried to charge me for the extra egg. She tried to say one extra egg was more expensive than the onions or bean sprouts. I got so mad at the nitwit, I told her I want my onions or bean sprouts then, and to put them in a little cup on the side, since I'm paying for them.

I did get the dish with extra egg after all, no charge, and no onions or bean sprouts on the side. I'm sure they also spit in my food that day.
