Well we have been home for 7 days, the laundry is complete and life is some what back to normal. So I figured I would start my trip report. This is my first official trip report so bare with me.
Let me start by introducing myself I am Vicky(hence VickynMickey
)age 37. I am a single mom of two beautiful teenagers. My son Cameron is 15 and my daughter Chelsea is 14. This was our first trip without my mom or my sister with us thought we would be lost without them but we really had a great time. Don't let me forget our beautiful Puppy who thought she should be able to go with:
This is Jasmine (yorkie/maltese mix, she is a year old) trying to hide in the suitcase:
Our trip was March 25th-30th, a little short for our taste but at least we got to go this year.
So after a very long 9 months of planning Sunday March 25th finally made it here. We flew out of a small airport here in Rockford IL., this was our first time not flying out of Chicago/OHare and let me say I love small airports
Our flight was schedule to leave at 11:25am, delayed a little bit due too fueling problems but we finally got on our way:
We landed at Sanford/Orlando Airport around 3:15 pm, grabbed our luggage and headed over to Alamo for the rental car. We got to pick what mid-size car we wanted. My daughter picked a blue Dodge Calibur, I have too say I really liked her choice.
We drove I-4 took us about 45 minutes, not a bad drive at all. Got to All Star Movies Resort about 5:30 pm. We checked in, I didn't ask for a specific building this time. We got stuck way back in Mighty Ducks Building 3 Room 3744:
Our one and only Towel Creation the whole trip:
We dropped off our luggage freshened up a little and headed over to Magic Kingdom. Always have to start with the Magic
We Made it:
Took the monorail over too the park after parking the car:
Caught a great picture of a hidden mickey at the Contemporary Resort on our way(Thanks to the hints from the Dis
):
I always love the first glimpse of Magic Kingdom puts me on
:
And then my favorite quote:
Main Street, ok I got tears in my eyes
We really are here, can someone please pinch me. It feels like I am dreaming.
