Well we have been home for 7 days, the laundry is complete and life is some what back to normal. So I figured I would start my trip report. This is my first official trip report so bare with me.

Let me start by introducing myself I am Vicky(hence VickynMickey ;) )age 37. I am a single mom of two beautiful teenagers. My son Cameron is 15 and my daughter Chelsea is 14. This was our first trip without my mom or my sister with us thought we would be lost without them but we really had a great time. Don't let me forget our beautiful Puppy who thought she should be able to go with:
This is Jasmine (yorkie/maltese mix, she is a year old) trying to hide in the suitcase:

Our trip was March 25th-30th, a little short for our taste but at least we got to go this year.
So after a very long 9 months of planning Sunday March 25th finally made it here. We flew out of a small airport here in Rockford IL., this was our first time not flying out of Chicago/OHare and let me say I love small airports;)
Our flight was schedule to leave at 11:25am, delayed a little bit due too fueling problems but we finally got on our way:

We landed at Sanford/Orlando Airport around 3:15 pm, grabbed our luggage and headed over to Alamo for the rental car. We got to pick what mid-size car we wanted. My daughter picked a blue Dodge Calibur, I have too say I really liked her choice.
We drove I-4 took us about 45 minutes, not a bad drive at all. Got to All Star Movies Resort about 5:30 pm. We checked in, I didn't ask for a specific building this time. We got stuck way back in Mighty Ducks Building 3 Room 3744:

Our one and only Towel Creation the whole trip:

We dropped off our luggage freshened up a little and headed over to Magic Kingdom. Always have to start with the Magic:love:
We Made it:

Took the monorail over too the park after parking the car:
IMG_4815.jpg

Caught a great picture of a hidden mickey at the Contemporary Resort on our way(Thanks to the hints from the Dis;) ):
IMG_5422.jpg

I always love the first glimpse of Magic Kingdom puts me on :cloud9: :
IMG_4817.jpg

And then my favorite quote:
IMG_5423.jpg

Main Street, ok I got tears in my eyes
IMG_4821.jpg

We really are here, can someone please pinch me. It feels like I am dreaming.

We where expecting the Magic Kingdom to be really packed because this was an EMH night. But really the crowds weren't bad at all. We headed over for a quick bite to eat at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe on our way grabbed FP's for Space Mountain. I have to say food wasn't that bad for counter service. So after our bodies were fueled again we headed off to Tommorowland:
IMG_4824.jpg

Wasn't time for Space Mountain yet so we headed over to Stich's Great Escape!:
IMG_4835.jpg

I had read allot of mixed reviews for this ride on the Dis. But my son is a avid fan of Stich so we had to ride it. I really enjoyed Allien Encounter, so the new version was a little lame. Stich was cute, could have done without the Chili Cheese Dog:eek:, not a must ride for future reference.
Once we got out of Stich it was time for Space Mountain, so we grabbed FP's for Buzz and then took a quick ride on TTA
IMG_4888.jpg

We walked past so many people in Stand By Line for Space Mountain, after 5trips I still don't know why people don't use FP. It took us about 10 minutes to get on the ride. Stand by was about 50 minute wait.
Our FP time was ready for Buzz by the time we got off of Space Mountain. We all 3 love Buzz, we have a blast seeing who can get the most points. Mom won this ride, the kids were out of practice. None of us have ever been able to get the max points of 999,999. Maybe someday!
So we had enough fun in Tommorowland so we decide to head over to the other side of the park, Adventureland! Stopped for a few Castle Pictures on the way
IMG_4825.jpg

IMG_4828.jpg

So we got past the mass crowds waiting for SpectroMagic:scared1: and made it too
IMG_5910.jpg

We knew we wanted to ride POTC, but on our way there, there was no wait for Jungle Cruise so we hopped on the next boat
IMG_5915.jpg

IMG_4855.jpg

This was the first time we had ever riden Jungle Cruise at night, I think I like night time better then during the day.
So we made it back safe and sound after some very close calls with the Native people;) and headed over to POTC
IMG_5917.jpg

No line again:woohoo: Walked right on, I think everyone was watching Spectromagic(we where coming back to MK on Tues, so we knew we could watch it then)
Ok, I know allot of people are not going to agree with me on this one. I liked the old POTC better. Don't get me wrong love Jack Sparrow at the end, but I just missed the old feeling of the ride, JMO.

So after we ride POTC, we head over too BTMR. Grab a FP, because the Stand by line is 50 minutes. FP return is only 30 minutes away, so we decide to do Haunted Mansion while waiting for our time. Again, no line  Always have loved Haunted Mansion its a classic. Left the ghost's behind and headed back over too BTMR. Walked right thru FP line, We got on just in time for Wishes to start. This was really cool watching the fireworks from the ride. After talking to the kids, we all decided we might want to stay for EMH. We track down the CM with the red flashing light to get our wrist bands. So we are official for EMH, with our snazzy yellow bands. We decide to head over to Its a Small World. This is not the kids favorite, but it is moms so they ride it with me. I didn't sing, didn't want to embrass the teenagers:laughing: You could tell Wishes was over because the crowds appeared, it started to get very crowded. We couldn't decide what we wanted to do next, I think the kids where getting tired, Mom is exhausted by now. Maybe EMH wasn't a good idea, the kids look at me. Mom can we call it a night:cheer2:, those were sweet words. So we headed out, stopped at a few shops on Main Street and took more pictures of the Castle at night but these 3 travelers where worn out and needed some sleep.
Some more pictures for your enjoyment:

After a very long day on Sunday we all 3 woke up tired but didn't take us long to get into the Disney mood. This was our window decorations for the week(sorry for the glare couldn't really get a great picture) The Mickey Heads read See you at (Then the park picture) today!!!
IMG_4916.jpg

We had breakfast at the All Star Movies World Premiere Food Court. Not impressed at all, way too crowded and we had to wait for a long time to get pancakes. They only had one cook:scared1:. Well needless to say we didn't make it to official opening at EPCOT but we got there pretty close around 9:15
IMG_4917.jpg

So as soon as we got to the park we headed start to the
IMG_4919.jpg

To get FP's for the ever so famous ride Soarin, We got to the FP machines at 9:25am. Our FP's were for 11:20 and standby was already up too 50 minutes, I was thinking to myself wow this must be some ride. We had never rode it, so we were in for a treat.
Ok, so we got our Gold Tickets ;) and headed out to see more things. Headed over to the Figment Ride, this is one of my favorites I love figment
No line, ride wasn't even moving yet We were the official first riders of the morning :woohoo: Like that matters right, enjoy the pictures:

IMG_4928.jpg

So we played around in Image Works for a short time and then headed over to Living Sea's, We walked right on too the new Nemo ride. I liked this very cute. We walked around enjoyed the fish, The Manatees are great. We spent allot of time watching them eat and listening to the lady speak. The kids decided they would like to see what Turtle Talk was about. We timed it just right and got right into the theater. This show is so cute, my two teenagers smiled the whole time we where watching. One of our favorites now, Dude:thumbsup2

IMG_4945.jpg

We are getting close to our time for Soarin, so we decide to head over to the Land. Maybe do a few things while waiting for our FP time. When we got back to the Land I think everyone that was at EPCOT for the day was in this building  It was really crowded, we couldn't get FP for the Land boat ride because they were for 1:00 :scared1: and we wanted to do FP for Test Track after riding Soarin. So opted to sit and have a snack relax for a few.
IMG_4973.jpg

So our FP finally opened up for Soarin
IMG_4972.jpg

This is what stand by line was at 11:30 am:
IMG_4976.jpg

And to top it off the FP's were gone for the day. So I guess we better enjoy our one time ride. Because it doesn't look like we will get back on again this trip.
OMG, I can't say enough about this ride. This is now my all time favorite:cloud9: Well Mickey Mouse will always be number one:love: Who ever created this ride and then brought it too WDW from DL Thank You Thank You.

Well I am off to take the Princess princess: for a walk. Remember the stowaway Jasmine
