A Special Surprise From Our Resale Agent!

Returning from the Gym this morning, I found a large box outside my front door from ****** and ******** at ***********.
Inside were lots of goodies - 2 WDW Passporters , A Mickey Snow globe, a pair of wine glasses and my fav , a DVC Member License Plate ( I cannot wait for my DH to put it on my van). I love surprises especially Disney stuff!

We also recently received a goodie box from these two lovely ladies -- it was like Christmas in June going through all the fun things they sent! Our Mickey Mouse snowglobe/music box is sitting on our mantle and I'm drinking out of my new coffee mug right now! I've never seen the Passporter books before - they appear to have a lot of great information in them!

I'm a little jealous too. We did a resale with the same company I believe you are talking about and they were wonderful to work with. However, after we closed (back in Nov. 03) we received a post card saying to watch our mailbox for a surprise, but we never did receive one. It may have gotten lost in the mail and someone else got it, I do not know.

Anyway, enjoy your "surprises" and have fun planning your trips.

True enough, but Jaki at A Timeshare and others don't get filtered out. This is something that started happening fairly recently.

We recently signed a contract with "the sponsor" of this forum and are now waiting on the ROFR process. I wonder if I'll get a surprise in the mail if we close this contract.

Since you received the postcard saying that you'd be receiving a thank-you gift, I'd contact them to let them know. It is possible it got lost or that they simply overlooked sending it. If these packages are insured, they'd definitely want to know that it never made it!

We closed on our first resale a year ago with a nice lady who used to work for our sponsor and received the globe and one Passporter...I thought that was wonderful! Sounds like you really received a bonanza! Our package was only 100 points, so maybe if you buy more points, she throws in more gifts???

We closed on our 2nd resale with this page's sponsor...no gift. Got a thank you card in the mail. This package was even smaller though, but I get the impression they don't do gifts.
