I'm glad to hear everyone is starting to get excited about your trip. They don't realize how much fun they are in store for!

Where do you order your Thanksgiving meal from? Just curious. We used to do Honey Bee Ham but they closed. Rudy's does a great turkey.

I will offer a suggestion for parade watching. I've never been for MVMCP, but we went for MNSSHP last year and we ended up near Pecos Bills in Frontierland about the time the parade started. We were able to sit on a curb until the parade was actually going, and that is near the beginning of the parade. So we were able to sit there, then stand, then watch the parade, then go ride Splash Mountain and BTMRR and Haunted Mansion with NO LINES while the parade made its way all the way around and to Main Street and the park entrance. That way you don't spend all your time staking out a spot near the end of the parade route and waiting and waiting and waiting.

Try to get some rest and have a fantastic vacation! I can't wait to hear all about it!

So happy to have you along on my PTR. You always have great little tips. I have resigned myself to finding a spot by Pecos because I really like the idea of getting out of the area more quickly! great tip.

Well....the big day is finally here. We are getting up at around 3 or 4 am in order to catch a 6:30 flight tomorrow morning!!!
I can barely calm myself down I'm so thrilled!

The bags are all pretty much packed with the exception of cosmetics and so forth. Still washing the last load of laundry and so forth and so on.

I've been checking the weather and it looks perfect! Low 80's day and upper 60's at night

David surprised me and got off work early today which is great because I need him rested up for this big adventure!

Ian is in complete spazz mode hopping around because he's sooooo excited now. He loves that he has no school for a long time and that we're going to the airport at like 4:30 in the morning. He LOVES when we go to the airport super early whenever we go somewhere.

I may try to post an update at some point while we're there to let ya'll know what section of poly we got and how it's going so far. I might be doing it from my phone so it will probably be short and sweet!

OK....off to finish packing and to TRY to sleep for awhile!

Real quick update. Made it without hitch. Got requested room facing volcano pool Allison is like me and appreciates all the Disney detail! Ian is losing his mind with excitement. David loves Poly and drinks on beach but doesn't seem to b blown away by MK (only park we did so far). Not worried though since I predict he's more of an EP or AK kind of guy anyway.
