A Six Thousand Kilometer Road Trip to Disneyland and Back- TR has started on page 37!

Apparently not. San Diego is on her list. It's only a couple hours away! Jeez Mom. I would be dying if I was with her and couldn't go to DL.

Well, there are a couple of cool things in San Diego too. Like Sea World and my favorites, the zoo and the wild animal park.

75 Days!!!!!! :dance3:

So I have decided to purchase Garrett and Grace's MHP tickets for them since they really want to go but just can't afford it. I think it will be a really cool experience, and I am excited that they can join us for it.

I have also worked out most of the meals we want, and sent them the list, and they can tell me if they're good with it all, or would rather skip out. We don't have to do everything together, right?

Heres what I got:

Friday Oct 1st (our first day): Ariels Grotto World Of Color Package. Cause I don't want to wait in line in the morning for FP's.

Saturday Oct 2nd: Celebration Roundup BBQ. Cause Dillon can't see the words "all-you-can-eat" and "BBQ" in the same sentence and not try it out!

Monday Oct 4th: Cafe Orleans Lunch. I think we are just going to share an appetizer (probably the pomme frites) and a dessert. We really want to try the beignets, and I don't need them all to myself!

Tuesday Oct 5th: My birthday breakfast at PCH Grill. We all know why.

Wednesday Oct 6th (our last day in the parks: Storyteller's Cafe. I wanted something kinda special for our last day, but I haven't completely decided whether I want breakfast or dinner here yet. I still really REALLY want the banana stuffed french toast! Lol. And I love Chip and Dale, so I am leaning towards the breakfast. Plus I think that will give us a good chance to check out a bit of the GC and all it's glory.

Anyways, that's all I've got. Some of those meals are pretty pricey. But we don't need big meals the rest of the day. Just little snacks here and there.

Looks good. There are a few places that aren't as expensive that you can find. And because you aren't staying onsite there are places that you will find offsite that you may want to try. Like In N Out.

Yeah we will look into places like that. Plus there is a McDonald's close to our hotel, and with the sizes they have there in the states, Dillon and I could probably share a large-sized meal.

I am also still planning on getting a box of cereal or two (or maybe those mini boxes if you can still get them) and a small jug of milk and using those for most of our breakfasts. It will save us a ton.

Does your hotel have a continental breakfast? That saved us tons of money. That McDonalds is huge, I saw it more than once.

All I can say is: thank goodness that's over!

It was 1:30 in the morning, and I was waiting for MHP to come on sale, only to realize that they weren't going on sale when everyone thought they were. Finally I decided to go to bed and get them in the morning. But it took me a while to get to sleep cause I was worried about them going on sale in the middle of the night, and then selling out before I got up. And when I did finally get to sleep, I dreamt about the tickets selling out!

So when I finally rolled out of bed this morning after the 5th snooze button hit, I went right back on the site to see if I could get my tickets. Still not on sale, so I decided to just try at work.

Well I get to work and turn on my computer to find out that the internet isn't working!!! :headache: So after about an hour and a half of stressing that I was going to miss the tickets, my internet starts working about 5 minutes after the tickets went up for sale (maybe some Disney magic going on?). So I quickly ordered them all up as fast as I could!

So needless to say, it has been a stressful bunch of hours. But it's all good, cause I am going to DISNEYLAND!!!! :dance3:

Um, I don't think that HOJO has the free breakfast, cause they were advertising Mimi's across the street. I am fine with just cereal. That's my normal breakfast and we are probably just going to be stuffing our faces the rest of the day anyways, lol.

Yay for Disneyland!!

Ugh talk about a crazy lack of sleep to just do it this morning. But, it's worth it.

Signing on for your PTR! I am going to DLR in October as well! We will be there the week after you and we are only doing three days. We are going to do the WoC picnic and then to Ariel's Grotto for lunch (to meet the characters). We are going with my extended family (sisters, nieces/nephews, etc). It will be INSANE!

:headache::scared1::grouphug:

71 days to go!!!

I am only a couple weeks away from knowing what the park hours will be the days we are there!! I remember looking at the official DLR site when I first started planning this trip and thinking how long it was going to be before I could see October on the calendar. Time is going by so much faster now, it's great! Just over 11 weeks until we leave!

Yesterday I took a day trip to Edmonton with a few friends to do some shopping. Didn't get much, cause I am pretty much banning myself from spending any money unless I absolutely need to, so we can have as much money as possible for the trip. You never know what I might want down there or anything else that might happen that costs money (hopefully nothing bad happens!)

Well anyways, we were in this cute little shop called Rafters that just sells home decor type things and I came across something that I now regret not getting:

I almost classified it as something I needed, but I turned my will power on and told myself I can get him another time. But now that I think about it, every time I have ever said that, I can never find that item again. So now I am a little sad about it. Oh well, hopefully I will come across it in DL or am able to go back and get him sometime soon!

I am sure you are right! I will just wait until we go to look for that kind of stuff. I am sure I will find something really cool there.

70 days to go!!!!! 10 more days until I can start making PS's!!! :yay:

Yay for 60 days!!

And yay for making PS's!!

64 days!!!

I thought I would post a little something on here since I have pretty much forgotten about my thread in the last week. The boards are so quiet the last few days!!

I had a busy weekend yet again. I can't wait for a weekend of hanging around the house! The days go by so fast when the weekend is full of activities, it doesn't even feel like I had a day off!

Friday after work we got a few friends together and went to the Red Deer Westerner Days. It's a fair that comes to town for about 5 days every July. We did some rides and ate tons of food. Really good night, but I have come to realize that I am not feeling the rides as much as I used to. Not good when you are planning a trip to Disneyland and Six Flags! Lol. Those rides are a lot different though. I love roller coasters, and most of Disney's rides aren't about throwing you around in every direction possible! Anyways, it was still a great night. Great weather and lots of yummy food!

Saturday I got up early to go to the farmers market with a friend. Didn't buy anything (except creamsicle fudge! mmmmm), but it was still nice to walk around and browse.

After the market, a bunch of us went to the lake for the afternoon, then came back to our place and had a BBQ and some drinks in the evening. Really full day, and a lot of fun. Still tiring though.

Then yesterday we decided to do a bit of house organizing, so there wasn't much lazy time at all this weekend. Oh well, next weekend is a long weekend, and I plan to take full advantage of it!!

I am hoping we get some Halloween and fall info this week so I can figure out what is going on for WOC and everything. I am going to need to make a WOC reservation next week if I am even able to.

The time just seems to falling away so fast now.

It really does actually! It being summer helps a lot, because there always seems to be a lot of things going on all the time. But once summer is over, there is really only a month left, so the rest should go by pretty fast!
