Just wanted to pop in here a moment and thank everyone for their concerns! Luckily I did get my suitcase back!! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank MeMom for personally going up in that tree to get my 3 t-shirts, and 2 pairs of jeans!

Kidding of course! Actually, it was a case of mistaken airport. They sent it to Ft Lauderdale instead of Palm Beach. I was without my pillow, mario kart wheel, brush, makeup and digital camera (and a few shirts, yeah that's all I had in there, everything else I had already shipped ) for 48 hours. But it's my pillow and I was starting to get upset I would never see it again. I love this pillow, she has come to Disney with me many times! A security blanket, so to speak.

And damn she is comfortable. Anyway, I had a few pictures on the digital camera I thought I had lost forever, but I can't seem to find the plugs, so the pictures will have to wait! We're in the 70s now, getting closer!!

Luckily they didn't stow in in the lavatory with the gentleman on the LA to NYC Flight.

Glad you got home safe and they found your luggage.

Hey guys! thanks for stopping by through my unexpected hiatus!! I've been really busy this week trying to get my life back together and figure some things out!! I'm still not there yet but still looking forward to my trip which is 76 days away!!

I finally imported some last minute pictures from the few days before I left ny including a trip to see my disney-obsessed 4 year old cousin, and dinner with kat and kc!! But first, look what I got today! a new car!!

I don't have persona pictures yet, so that is an "official" picture but really the only difference is that mine is a slate gray! I'm in love! I'll definitely take pics tomorrow

MarioKart is awesome isn't it?? By the time we're in the same household together it will be tonight so I'll try but the pictures might be dark, we'll try tomorrow!! That would be a funny picture!

So a few days before I left, I had a big day! I think I mentioned that during the spring break disney weekend I took with Charlie, i picked up a few things for my cousin, who is very disney obsessed!! She was supposed to go to Disney this year but my aunt is pregnant again! Needless to say she was very excited! Here is a picture of her goodies!



A princess autograph book and stickers

With the help of AGPrincess..Aurora's autograph (I didn't see her in the parks, so I forged it. She won't know the difference)

So I took the train to Queens that morning, and my aunt picked me up at Shea Stadium.

We went to her in laws place where "J" was, and boy was she excited when I gave her the present!! I pulled the autograph book out last, and I went "J, do you know what this is?" and she excidetly nodded her head. Apparently, a friend of hers had just returned from Disney and left HER autograph book at J's house. J took it aaaallll around, showing it off to strangers, saying "this is my friends book but i'm going to get one for myself one day!" Needless to say she was beyond excited, and carried it around with her throughout the day. We went for pizza where J proudly told me she was going to be a big sister, than we went back to the house where we played storybook princess doll house. This was funny because it comes with Ariel and than Ariel has clip on clothes, but to me since the clothes didn't have heads or feet, they were ghosts!! So Princess Aurora was hosting a haunted tea party for an hour!


We stopped by the cemetery to wish my grandmother a happy mother's day and J found a rock. So I went "Wow, that looks just like a dinosaur egg! Do you think theres a dinosaur inside??" And i figured we would get a laugh out of it, but instead J was like "Do you think so?? Wow!" and proceeded to bang the rock all the way to the train station to try and get the Dino out all the while going "I don't know if theres a dinosaur in there, he's not coming out!" god I love kids. Here's an email J wrote me later on:

I love you.

I miss you already.

I cant wait to play the pop-up book party again. With the ghosts.
I will let you know what I am up to on my Bratz computer.

Cant wait to see you again. I hope you get to come to the Mets game with us tomorrow.

So I left my aunts and went straight to Kat and KC who were waiting for me in the village. Train were acting wonky so it took me more than an hour to get there!

We got awesome hot dogs at Gray's Papaya, $3 for 2 hot dogs and a juice! Awesome!

Afterwards we walked over towards Magnolia's Bakery.

Those of you who watch SNL or Sex and the City will understand why this is a big deal. Besides the fact that the cupcakes are delicious, it might as well a television landmark!

We walked from there to the Apple Store on 14th and 9th so I could return something. Right next door was Chelsea Market (where they tape the food network shows) but on the bottom floor its all these food markets including "The Lobster Place" where I got 2 extremely delicious cups of Lobster Bisque.

Kat, KC, and I bid farewell for now, it was the last time I would see them in NY.

Last night I went on the Universal Orlando website and I was excited to see new florida resident rates!! When I booked the hard rock, I thought I was already getting a good deal, but as it turns out the rates got even cheaper!!

I called today and adjusted our room which was a breeze but I'm saving over $100!! I can't wait for those disney rates to come out for August already!!

My very backwards morning!!

I woke up this morning and looked over at my clock which read 1:03pm Wow!! I slept late! I better get up I have a lot to do!

I went to see my Dad and i'm going "Dad what are you still doing here?" "OH i'm leaving for work in a few" he says.

So i proceed my day. I won't eat breakfast because it's much too late for that, it's lunch time! But i'm not hungry. Huh, thats weird. I can't rollerblade past 11am because it gets much too hot! I'll haveto do that later. Oh well, let me clean my room!! Turn on the music, clean up for about an hour. Oh! I should call mom, she's on her lunch break now. I get distracted and don't call. I need to go food shopping but David will be home soon maybe he wants to come, I should wait for him.

turn on my computer and the clock reads "10:30am" huh thats weird. Open system preferences, the clock IS set for automatic, it should automatically adjust! I turn around and my clock says "2:30pm"

"Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!"
"What?"
"What time is it?"
"10:30"
"Um, what?"
"Whats the matter?"
"For the past 2 hours i've thought its been the afternoon"
"Your clock didn't adjust for the blackout?"



"Oh good, i can eat breakfast now."

Now I know how much you really think of me! You FORGOT that we were going to meet up in November?!?!? You'll be starting and we'll be leaving. We were going to hook up on our (hopefully) overlap days - 29th or 30th. Does that ring a bell?

Man, I have "meeting Nicole" as one of the highlights of our Thanksgiving trip, right under "eat a fabulous turkey dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern", and you can't even remember who you're meeting up with. Hmmmph!
