It should be pretty interesting to get this started! I know what Kim looks like, and I can spot her, but she only knows what I look like. From pictures I know what scott and KatGarcia look like. Kat (Beana) I don't think i've seen a picture of you, so just wear a giant neon sign with one of those flashing arrows that says "I AM KAT!" I'm assuming ya'll know what I look like (and sound like) but everyone else who RSVPd with scott? no idea! I'll post tomorrow what I'm wearing but since it's gonna rain, probably my navy blue adidas sweatshirt, wish I had a LGMH!! [/SIZE]

I see my bro and I having this same type of conversation. He's better at email and text than phone talk any day. And he would also have wanted to open my PS3 and GTA (but like David, he wouldn't have on pretend pain of death) He's also 6'2 and could take me in a split sec.

I talked to Nicole just a little bit ago. I also talked to Kathleen before that. They said there were about eight of them who showed up, and they were having a good time shopping. They hadn't decided where they were going to eat yet. I shopped by phone - I picked out a Statue of Liberty Minnie Mouse. I can't wait to add it to my collection!

I probably sounded so kuuuuuntry to them. We talk s-l-o-w and with lots of syllables to every one down here, and they speak with a little more pep in their steps. Actually, having been an Air Force brat and spending time around a lot of northerners, my accent is not nearly as bad as many around here. I guess we'll wait for their report on my accent.

Wouldn't it be fun to meet up like they're doing tonight? I hope there will be a lot of laughter, and of course, much Disney talk. I'm sure we'll get to see some great pictures soon. If they don't stay out too late, maybe even tonight!

So today was a nice day. I slept in and decided to walk on over to Canal Street because I was bored. I spent a good few hours there, shopping and looking at awesome knockoffs (of course its always a covert operation over there and you feel like you are going to get killed for a handbag, but always fun) I ended up walking away with these babies for $10!! They are actually for David, and what happened was I googled "Ray Ban Aviators" to get a picture of what he wanted, and while I was standing there I just asked them if they had these and showed them the picture, and they unlocked some super secret drawer to show me they had actual ray ban knock offs!! works for me!!

What else did I do today? Oh yeah!! THE DIS MEET!!!!!

I was actually running a few minutes behind, because I had left my camera and had to run back there at the last second before I got on the train, but I was up there a few minutes past 6!! I think it's safe to say most of us hit it off right away, and we were settling in pretty quickly!! But of course what was the first thing we had to do?? Phone MeMom!

Actually we would phone her a few more times as we teetered back and forth between what to get her. But that came later.

We spent a good amount of time at WoD, but it turns out we just missed the last character greeting which was upsetting because we only missed it by a few minutes and had we known that, we wouldn't have spent so much time on the first and second floors

We just had a great time getting to know one another as we goofed off around the store!

This was my attempt at a self portrait as I made a funny face towards Scott. Yeah, notice I say attempt.

Scott, be careful, jeez!

Beana wanted to buy this, but ended up with a smaller version!

Next came the hardest part, and it was all pinned on me for some reason! Everybody made me pick what restaurant I wanted to eat at, because I would be leaving NY soon, and I figured the best NY experience would be Jeckyll & Hyde. Should I do a dining report? Ok, I shall.

Overpriced, but fun. Do you guys agree? I think we had a lot of fun, and the food was up to par with its "type" but I felt it was very expensive for what it was. Definitely not a good restaurant for conversation! We kept getting interrupted by skits, but they WERE funny I have to admit, but they just came at inconvenient times! Still, it was a good time! Should I post some food porn??

Lets see if I can remember this correctly. Scott got jalapeno poppers for an appetizer, Kim and I mozzarella sticks, and Noonie & Beana got BBQ chicken wings, right?

Kim and I got sliders, but mine were plain with fried onions (yum!) and I know that Angela got a T-Bone, Kat got the crab cakes appetizer but thats all I remember I ordered my diet coke in a souvenier cup which I just gave to Scott because I didn't really want it, it was just cheaper.

The characters that walk around were pretty funny! And a really "choke on your mozarella stick moment" happened when we were talking about food porn, and at the exact moment our waitress came over Scott exclaims "I Don't do food porn!" Oh my god, I almost choked on my mozz. stick!!! It was hysterical!!

Another funny moment? Them playing "It's a small world" on the speaker system!! So ironic, right?

So we walked out of there and said our goodbyes. Well, as KC (Kat's DH) puts it "Hispanic goodbyes" where we say goodbye but then hang around for a good 10 minutes still talking

I said goodbye to Scott, Angela, Kim, Noonie, Beana, but not to Kat and KC! We had other plans! Understandable everybody had to go home to bed, but we had to go to Serendipity for desert!!

The three of us ended up not leaving serendipity until it was around 11:45, and we all caught the same train back home (my stop was first)

Seriously, it was like a night out with friends I've known for years and I hope that everyone feels the same way

I know that you guys have a lot more pictures, so please, post! Especially since not one I have has me in there and I'd like to prove I was there!

Tomorrow night, i'll probably post the other pictures that I have. I can't wait to hear it from your perspective guys!

Now that I'm more coherent and can see the pictures better, I'm ready for more World of Disney pictures. I want to see that rack of earrings the little girl is looking at in the Kim Ashton picture. I need that zoomed. I love to look at earrings - the only jewelry I wear.

Did you take real pictures of my Minnie or just camera pictures? I am so happy that I'm getting that! She will join a very nice group of friends in my classroom. I'll take a picture of them all when she arrives.

Just be sure to get details to me as to who I pay and how much. I don't want anyone to have to wait long to get repaid.

Scott looked cute shopping for pens. I use Disney pens all the time, and that's also a souvenir I often get people. He was probably glad when the shopping part was over, though.

I would probably have never gotten past the shopping part, though. You would have finished your meal and your desserts, only to go back past the store to see me still browsing.

Again, I am so glad you were able to do that. I hope you did make friendships that will continue on in the future.
