Ya'll had a great time at dinner. I am still bummed that we had to miss it.

In 2009 we'll make it happen. We'll even get Chris, Hazel, Rosie and Ryan to join us. It was fun!!

Off we head to Haunted Mansion after saying our goodbyes to our buddies from the Singles Thread... and oh, did I tell you that Sha brought the boys some cool glow in the dark stuff? They had a ball with it!

So, here the boys are ... reading all of the headstones as we get ready to enter HM....

Then off to POTC!!

While we were there, we decided to explore more of Frontierland. Off to find Splash Mountain. By now... there were NO lines for the rides... so Paula asks me if I've ever been on Splash Mountain. Nope... never. So we ask the boys and they were like "Dudes, no way!". So, we left the party poopers behind in the gift shop with explicit instructions of what to do if they were in trouble... and off we go.

Somewhere while navigating the way to the ride, Paula was kidnapped by her Evil twin sister, Paulette. I, of course, could not tell that this had happened because they looked exactly alike!

Well, we walk right up to a boat and she directs me to the front... and the first one in. I turned and said... "Wait! Doesn't the front get the most water?" Paulette responds with "Oh no, that's the person in the back!" ... all the while batting her big eyes... looking ever so convincing.

Well, I turn to the big guy in the back of our boat and said... "Hey buddy, good luck back there! I hear you'll get the brunt of the water!" Big Guy replies..."Uh, no... Missy.... the person in the front RIGHT seat gets it!"

I turn to the EVIL person sitting next to me to prompt her to get her **** up so we can move and wouldn't ya know it ... the RIDE STARTS!

She is giggling and completely proclaiming her innocence. So... I start digging in my backpack. One... to make sure my camera was safe and in the camera bag. Two... to find my $.99 poncho that I bought in case of rain.

Right in the middle of this, one of our cruise buddies, Disneygrl36 (aka Melanie) calls Ms. Paulette and she tells her where we are and we'll meet after at POTC. IF I LIVE!!!

I barely remember much of the ride... not much to remember other than... when... is.... it .... going .... to .... drop.... us?????? My plan was to wear the poncho and hold it over my head. Um.... yeah, not a good plan. The drop is 4000 feet, straight down and there was no way I was holding on to anything but dear life!! Ok, so not really 4000 feet, but it felt like it!!

I wa soaked.... Ms. Paulette, yeah, not so much. We go to find the boys... they are safe and sound and find it quite amusing that I'm drenched.

I never saw Ms. Paulette after that... and I was VERY happy!! So back to POTC, Disneygrl36 and hubby aren't there so I take the boys in for another ride with Jack... when we come out, there they are!

She organized our green DIS bracelets for the cruise... how nice of her!

Ok, to finish off our MNSSHP experience, it was off to Buzz, Space Mountain, Snow White, Peter Pan and then Mickey's Philharmagic (while it rained during the fireworks!)

At this point... we left. The parade was about to start but we knew the boys had been going all day and needed to rest for the cruise... WE LEAVE in the morning!!!

I do regret not staying for the parade - Noah wanted to and he's seen it twice before. Next time... buddy. Next time!

Ok, tomorrow morning and we are off to the Port.... aka... the Survivor Challenge... how do we get all this luggage in a town car?

You NEED to come with us!! There is still plenty of room, we aren't going to spend a ton of $$$ (Time's buying the drinks, I hear) and we'll have fun doing all the rides that Noah and Ethan wouldn't do with us!!

I admit. I'm spoiled. Vacation, to me... means NO DRIVING. I don't want to drive. I choose not to drive. I don't want to figure out where I'm going. I want someone to show up, tuck me into a nice car and whisk me away... so... FL Tours was hired. They picked Noah and I up at MCO on Thursday morning. I never even glanced into the trunk. The initial reservation was for Noah and I to be picked up at MCO, then him, myself and our sitter (who ended up not going) was to be taken from the resort to the port and the port to MCO.

Well, Paula ended up getting great dings on airfare so I emailed FL Tours to change the passenger count and asked, explicitly in the email... do I need a bigger car for 4 vs. 3? The ressie was changed, with no comment about the increased # of passengers so I ASSUMED we would be fine. Shame on me. I tell my staff all the time... What happens when we assume????

Paula and I each 3 suitcases and a large carryon. Each of the boys have backpacks. I also have a large box that has the Trick or Treat stuff in it for the Halloween Scavenger hunt on the ship!

In FL Tours defense... the website shows a very limited amount of luggage and 4 passengers. I never checked it. My fault. I thought asking in the email was enough.

It took the driver, Paula and one of the bell hops to come up with the solution to the luggage puzzle. The trunk wouldn't close (the Trunk is Ajar light was on the whole way to the port), Paula sat in the back with her legs wrapped around my largest suitcase... Ethan and Noah each had their feet on something as well as holding their backpacks and I had my feet on the big box, holding a carryon! WE MADE IT!!

We stop at a liquor store on the way to the port... (for water, on the ship, cuz it' so expensive... )and then we hit the highway!! At one point, Noah was singing, quite loudly with High School Musical's soundtrack, Ethan was rapping to yet another song and Paula was zoned... I was cracking up. I wish we had it on tape.

Then, before we know it... there is the ship!! We are here!! Our plethera of luggage is unloaded and wisked away by a lovely man and off we go!

It's about 10:30 a.m. and we are soooo waiting in line! In fact, the Castaway Club member (moi) waited longer in line than the first time cruise (Paula)...what's up with that?

So, Paula hops into the line to sign the boys up for the kids club and then it's off to meet our DISfriends. You see... our thread started well in advance of our cruise.

There we spot PJPoohBear and her Mom, Disneygrl36 and hubby again, 101Dalmfan gives us the Fish Extenders she made for us, Babs walks up with tears in her eyes... (that touched me!), PADisneyCouple arrive... we see Dizzi and her family and DreamCruiser100 and her family and viola... they call our number! We had 3's... but we were still on the ship before 11:30 a.m. It was fast!

Hi Babs!!! I wish I had seen your group piling out of the Hummer... how fun was that? I think they need to rethink the luggage standards. It's different for going to the parks vs. going on a cruise. Especially since we had outfits for formal night, semi-formal night, Halloween and Pirate night! That's an extra suitcase or two right there!! I miss you!!

Great updates Kimmie! Wish I could go on the 10/08 cruise but next year will be my first year with an AP and I only get 10 vacation days.. need to make the most of it.
