I uploaded the autograph cards to Shutterfly with the intentions of adding them to a photobook to be made for our upcoming trip. However, I'm getting warnings saying that the photos are low resolution and the pictures are very grainy. Is this okay? It is also cropping the 'photos' cutting the sides off on all of them. How do I get around this? TIA!!

Hi Music Mouse,
Your designs are fabulous! I have just discovered disboards and your guide to making an autograph album has been so much help. We are planning to take our boys to WDW for the first time the last part of May. I followed the directions given and most cards turned out great. However, a few in the folder are out of whack (in size)....they are narrow and stretch across the screen. What am I doing wrong? THe Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace character dining cards are a few that are giving me trouble. Thank you so much for your help.

I was wondering if I could get a few suggestions?
I am doing just blank pages for the autograph books. How many pages do you suggest I do and you do think I should do front and back or just one side?
We will only be there for 4 days

If your kids are serious about autograph hunting, I think 40 single-sided pages will be plenty,especially if you are planning any character meals. In 7 days, I can usually get between 60 and 70 autographs, if that helps.

The resolution should be fine. Usually the preset requirements for these photobooks are for photographs, which require much higher resolution for clarity. As far as being cropped, Shutterfly should have an editing program tha will allow you to zoom in and out and adjust the size of your image.

Try deleting the files and then re-uploading them from my photobucket. Make sure that they are expanded to their full size first. Sometimes something goes wrong in the uploading process.

I'm sorry Clare, but the WDW one with Cinderella's Castle took me almost a month to do, and I am not taking any large projects on right now due to my upcoming doctoral defense (see my ticker). If you really have your heart set on this type of design, try putting a request out in a new thread on the main Creative DISign Forum.

ETA: Okay, Clare. I did some fudging with Photoshop. Would this be okay?
