A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

So guess who has been making random appearances in Epcot and the Magic Kingdom? Gaston from Beauty and the Beast! This may be training for appearances in the new Fantasyland Expansion There will be a Counter Service Restaurant there called Gaston's Tavern, as well as Belle's Village, so this character would be a logical new addition. As soon as I hear anything concrete, I will let you know!

Thanks Shane! I think this rumor got started because WDW Insiders reported Gaston at both the Epcot Character Spot and the International Gateway in September: http://www.wdwinsiders.com/view_character.php?characterid=71. I would NOT include him in your book right now as he is still considered to be rare.

ETA: Isn't Belle doing Enchanted Storytime with Belle in her village?

Hi ladies - I have read through a lot of pages but not all There is some amazing ideas here and I am working on doing my own autograph books for my 2 kiddos. Ok so I have a question:

For those of you that are bounding them into a book with like Shutterfly or Snapfish is that what you are taking to Disney to have the characters sign?

I like the idea of the bound book however would love to have the autograph cards with pic of the kiddos to incorporate into my scrapbooking pages when we return.

MusicMouse - would love to have 2 covers and backs when you have some time.

1) multi characters in the blue background for my son Peyton and his letter and letter green his fave color

2) multi characters in the white background for my daughter Marissa and her lettering purple her fave color

I am working on this and will be a Christmas present for my kids! Working to get the magic going and keep it up until our trip! So excited!

If you would like to have an album with your kids' pictures and the autograph cards, you might want to spiral bind your book and then you can take it apart and make an album with your photos when you come back. If you already have pics of your kids with some of the characters, go ahead and incorporate them into your photobook - it will look really cool and personalize it on a whole new level! Just wondering if anyone one used actual photo's for making their autograph book. I've been skimming through but so far ahve seen none. Trying to see if it's a good idea or just stick to the Creative Designer Pages.

I say go for it! It's a great idea and I think it would be an awesome way to customize your book. I remember seeing the thread for the book that M_I_C_K_E_Y has linked to below, and TotalSnowWhite said that she had some fabulous character interaction with her book!

One of the best ones I have seen is here by TotalSnowWhite (her new user name is PolyndianPrincessJes). She made her own pages I believe but this will give you an idea of what you could do. I hope it helps!

Or do my lo's have to be in the photo with them? (Not sure about the infringements). And, my photo's are from 2009-2010 do you think the character's would get offended if it's not them in the photo? Ex: the Princess', Mary Poppins those type of characters.

If the photos are yours, and you are using them for personal use (ie. for your own autograph book), I think it would be fine. Your loved ones don't need to be in the pictures. You may want to use a mixture of your photos and cards from the DISigners if there are some characters that you don't have. When you finish your book I would love to see it!

I'm sorry that you are having trouble with Artscow! It took me a while to figure out how it works, too. The zoom in/zoom out buttons are very handy!
