A Silly Thread, Name a Bad Idea Disney Could do to Save Profit

Charge for cable and require a nonrefundable deposit to have phone priviledges in room.

Coin operated turnstiles at all pool entrances.

Coin operated bathrooms.

Work purchases on a "rounding off" system. If your purchase is $4.16 and you give $4.20, you get no change.

Charging for use of park benches. Charge more for the ones under shade.

No too many people Pee in pools for me to like this idea... especially in the warm florida sun, the stuff would never set just right and I'd be wondering just what I'd be "snacking" on. :crazy2:

Ok, I know...the jello will be special and if any bodily fluids touch it it will turn black and then not only will we know what jello is safe to eat BUT we'll be able to find out who is peeing in the pool! So we've solved our snacking problem AND getting those pesky pee pool people from the jello! :rotfl2:

Instead of revolving the Carousel of Progress (not sure of spelling), have the audience members move from section to section after each one completes.

This will save a lot of energy.

Start charging for transportation. $2 for a one way bus ride. $1.50 for the MK train, round trip. $3 for the monorail, from stop to stop. $1.50 for the parking lot ferry, each way.

Turn off the sound on It's a Small World. Save some $$ on electricity, and save some parents sanity.

Charge people for making ARs. (At American Girl Place, they charged me $2.50 for the privilege of making a reservation!)

Give people a map and make them walk through the Backlot Tour. There's not so much there anymore and why not save some money and get rid of the vehicles?

Charge for lids and straws for drinks. Slap a Mickey label on bottled water and sell the bottles for $5 each.

If those pesky guests want pool heat, they can make it themselves. Hook up a pool heating system powered by guests on exercise bikes. You want it warm, be prepared to pedal. If it doesn't get warm enough, so what? You'll have worked up a sweat pedaling and the cold water will feel good. :rotfl:

NNNoooo Don't let them see this, they might like it. It almost sounds workable. The positions would be "Greeter", "Direction giver" and if you are a member of the DIS "Button giver" at the Guest Services building in the Magic Kingdom. Trust me, if they get ahold of this, they'll run with it! :rolleyes1
