I knew it was going to happen! A week or so ago, a woman in one of my classes coughed right in my face (I'm talking RIGHT in my face) and she had strep throat. She felt really bad about it, but she shouldn't have even been in class as sick as she was! This teacher doesn't have a strict attendance policy at all, so there's no reason to feel we have to be there sick. Last night, my throat started hurting really bad and I've been fighting a fever. So, now I've got to stay home and I might miss a quiz.
When I get a cold or other ailment, it really hits me a lot harder than normal people.
Why do people have to expose others to their illnesses???

May I offer you some homemade chicken noodle soup that I am making for dinner tonight?
