A severed pinky toe

My son's stepson had his big toe severed when he was 3 in a lawn mower accident. His 2nd toe grew (he is 13) larger to compensate the loss....one would never know he had a severe injury - the body is amazing in its' ability to heal & compensate.

I was also expecting you to ask for medical advice. My grandma severed thumb, when she was very young, and the doctor just sewed back on (at her house), and it works and everything.

Well actually four years ago I did run my thumb through the blade on my table saw. I never thought to take pictures. I still have the thumb but it is numb in places because the nerves never grew back.
