A (secret) Message to my DH..

But how else is your husband supposed to show he is gangsta yo!?
:lmao:

I also hate to keep saying: "Pull up your pants nobody wants to see your not so tidy whities" and the other one "In or out" (he often has his shirt tucked half in and half untucked)

<<< See my tag :thumbsup2
Oh I do...when it's funny. :)

Being passive agressive isn't funny. :)

Yes it is--there's a whole website with passive aggressive stuff that is HILARIOUS! http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/

:rotfl:
Does every single thing on the DIS have to be analized and found wanting? Seriously? :confused3

I understand what you are saying and I understand sort of about the OP but in all honesty they just got together not long ago. It's not like the guy just started dropping his pants and showing is butt. He was like this when they got together which wasn't that long ago.

I'm just confused on how she liked it then but doesn't like it now. Why not just say something to her husband instead of trying to change him from behind?

I can say that I did get rid of things in my husband's closet and I always told him why when I replaced them. Everytime he is away the clothes fairy magically makes an apperance.;)

:rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl:
Thankfully fiance does not wear his pants at his butt....BUT he has a habit of taking his clothes off and dropping them right next to the hamper...like are you kidding me? You are too lazy to open the lid and just drop them in there?!?!

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I love the pants thing!!! My BF insists he is a 36x32 and a 36 belt. Well the belt is on the last hole and his pants bag so much you could fit another person in them. I am slowly doing the same thing first it was tshirts - stained & holes does not equal vintage:confused3

Now jean sliding the 34X32s into the drawer this week. Next month new belt:rotfl:

We're just taking the OP in different ways I guess. I chose not to read into anything and just found it funny. :thumbsup2

I wasn't reading it based on knowing any other info about OP...I thought she was having fun and joking around. Sometimes we like to just funny vent.

My DH is also a sagger, because he says it's more comfortable  It has bothered me since I met him. I have told him plenty of times. But I love him enough that I got over it. Plus it'll keep other women away from him! :lmao: ;)

How old are you? :confused3

Have you tried, oh I don't know, actually talking to this "boy" you call a husband about his clothes choices, instead of thinking you're being all sneaky about it?

I would guess that conversing with him about his clothes choices would be a better way to get him to change what he's wearing instead of complaining to a bunch of strangers on the internet. :confused3

Aw, come on, this is all in good fun for laughs. see.....:rotfl:

My kids have been trying to get my dh to wear his shirts untucked. My dd now resorts to I'm not going with you anywhere unless you untuck your shirt Daddy, please!!! It usually works. :rotfl:

I agree I think we all need a good laugh :lmao:  How true it is regarding men dropping the clothes near the hamper or putting it on top..I mean seriously..are they that lazy???...yes most are...:rotfl2:

My solution to this problem has been to get clothes hampers that have a removable top and leave the top off. That way, there is no excuse for missing the hamper! (Although my kids still seem to have difficulty with this concept!)

Of course it's all in good fun.

No one married their spouse because they're perfect. And we knew that when we married them. So yes, there's always something about them that we wouldn't mind changing...or updating....

So the arguments that "you knew that before you got married" are hog wash.

We're talking about fashion here, not infidelity or financial irresponsibility.

Let the OP have her fun.

Amazed at some of the replies to what *I* considered a light hearted post.

My husband had two tattoo's, pierced ear and had JUST cut his long hair all things I do not like, but I LIKED him so I didn't let it stop me from getting to know him better. He still has the tattoo's, doesn't wear the earing and cuts his hair, man am I glad that I didn't let those little things stop me from meeting, getting to know and marring the love of my life! And no sagging pants wouldn't have stopped me either even though I don't care for that either.

Exactly, Luvs.

My husband had an earring when we met. Ew. He eventually outgrew it, and it closed up. I was appalled when 10 years later, he went out and got it pierced again! Within a week, it was infected, so he gave up. Bad as it is, I was GLAD my husband had oozy ears.

Yes, he had an earring when we met. I married him anyway. So was I supposed to not marry him because of it? When he got it done again, was I supposed to like it because "I knew that when we got married"?

Um, no.

Too funny OP. :rotfl:

Put my husband in the "shirt half in / half out" category.

Some people have absolutely no sense of humor....just sayin'

Totally agree
popcorn:: Good Grief can't we have a thread that makes us laugh and swap DH stories without anyone getting nasty...if you're a guy you'll never get this thread and if you're not a wife you won't either ....just sayin'

As for OP I love that you started this thread

I am just going to quote instead of repeating. Really people need to get their panties out of a twist and realize a little humor in their lives. The OP was just kidding in a light hearted manner. What's the issue with all the grumpiness:confused3

Why don't we get back to the fun of the thread? I'll start.

A (secret) message to my husband:

Dear Husband,

You have no clean socks because they are all under the bed. If you put them in the hamper, I would wash them. But since they are in the dark, scary place with the crazy rabid dust bunnies, I'm not going in after them. I'm afraid the dust bunnies would never let me leave.

Yes, you're starting to get gray hair. I kind of like it. I find it distinguished and a bit sexy. I hate it that nowadays you buzz it off to hide the gray. The buzz cut makes your head look big.

Don't get mad at me when you can't find the remote. *I* didn't hide it in the cushion of your recliner, YOU DID!

Lighten up people!!!

This arguement/hilarity has been going on ad nauseum. I still remember my mother telling my father "Albert you are not wearing THAT out of this house!!!" My Dad had an affinty for wearing stripes & patterns at the same time.

They were married 52 years - so maybe he never grew up or she should have married a man not a boy.
