A Safari Christmas Goes Pop! (w/pics)

Not too much longer!

:cool1: We're in single digits!!! :cool1:

Oh I am so jealous that you are going again! I can remember last year I was flipping out around this time packing and unpacking and repacking. Looking for this and that to go! I remember looking for gloves and hats and then NEVER using them! I hope that you have great weather like we did last year! Do you have your tree all packed, I can't find ours ... must have gotten lost in the move!
OH have so much fun!

I remember last year!

Yes, we got the tree in the suitcase. I was so glad!!! We will pack a bit at a time the rest of the week. I have to do some laundry first. :laundy:

We're hoping to get good weather, too! Thanks for the good wishes!!! :goodvibes

Hi, I saw 83 for today in Fla. :goodvibes

Oh, yeah! We've been monitoring it, too. The ten day forecast showed the temps in the low 70s for the day we arrive. Soon, I'll be able to see more of the temps for our trip. We haven't been able to start packing yet, not knowing how the weather will be.

I just can't wait, to go!!! :woohoo:

hi,
OMG you have eight days! I have 17 days...so much to do.
Have a magical trip if I dont get back here before you go.

Soon you will be in Disney World!!! Just a few days left! :thumbsup2

At this point, don't you feel like you have waaay better stuff to do than going to work??? I know I do!! Things like :laundy:

:santa: :santa: :santa: :santa:

Thank you!!!

Oh, yeah! The good thing, is that I've been so busy lately, that time is really flying. My DH actually asked me this morning, "So, when do you think we'll actually get around to packing?" That's how busy we are lately! It's all good. It feels a bit crazy now, but it will all get done. :goodvibes

We get our birthdays off with pay at work. But I had so much I needed to get done that I took off today, instead of tomorrow. I pack what I could, but really I can not pack anything till the night before since we are surprising the kids. I did pack all the snack food I am bringing and I did figure out what I will pack for clothes and wrote it down. Have a great time.

That's nice to get your birthdays off with pay! You're kids will be so surprised!!! You have a great time, too! Who knows? Maybe we'll see each other there! :cool1:

Only three days to go! My goal today was to stay as busy as possible, so I could start my vacation. While I did a good job of it, I had to laugh when I covered a class for a co-worker, and smack in the front of the classroom was a boy wearing a Mickey santa hat! :santa: Oh, talk about torture!!!

After work, I had my hair re-highlighted and cut. The weather has been a wintry mix all day, so my DH got to go home early. Once I arrived home, we had dinner and then finished packing, which we started last night. We have those last minute items, that will just have to wait till Sunday night. It feels great to be packed up to go! :thumbsup2

Tomorrow morning, I will get my nails done. I'll be sure to get a picture. I plan to do red with white snowflakes, my yearly Christmas tradition, but with an added Disney touch. My ring fingers will be Mickeys, in white, like the snowflakes. I can't wait to see them.

Then, the next two nights, we have our church performance of "Scrooge," that my DH is directing and I'm singing in. I'm very psyched about it!!! Rehearsals have gone well.

So, what's left? Well, I'm posting our updated itinerary here. I've been good and haven't posted and reposted our itinerary as often as I did on last year's PTR. I don't believe they'll be anymore changes to it, though with us, you never know. :rolleyes1

Sometime this weekend, I'll also begin creating the introduction to the WDW holiday blog. Should be fun!

I am not sure when the blog will officially be posted, but the introduction to our Holiday Trip Blog was sent out last night. This is cool! I've never done this before. I hope it's received well. :santa:

Bring some shorts and tees! I'm sweating down here! I'm wearing a long sleeved tee and velour pants and I'm dying!

We got back a week ago, but between doing my :surfweb: holiday blog for another Disney related website, :teacher: getting caught up at work and battling a  cold (I slept 13 hours last night!!!), I haven't had a moment to give details of our trip. They are coming though. :thumbsup2

:yay: Now, I'm trying to think of a catchy title for it. :yay:

My ideas, so far:
- Holidays with the Mouse
- Home for the Holidays
- Holidays Disney Style
- The Merriest Place on Earth

What do you think? I'm open to other suggestions.

The trip was amazing and we have tons of pics, as usual. We're even planning on returning within the year, if circumstances permit, but that will all be explained in detail soon.

Yay, I'm glad to see you posted! I've been wondering if you started a TR and if I had just been missing it. :confused3 I can't wait to hear about your trip! :cool1:

I haven't forgotten to do my TR, but I have been real busy. So, hang in. I will be back soon to give all of the updates and pics from our trip, as well as to explain how we are already planning for our next trip in just over 6 months! :cool1:

I've got a name for my TR and I just finished downloading our personal pics. So, I'm going to begin posting soon. I'm excited to get to talk about all of it.
