A Safari Christmas Goes Pop! (w/pics)

So, tonight we booked the extra night at POP!!! I'm so happy! :cool1: We're also considering upgrading our tickets to annual passes when we get there, since we're thinking of returning in November. I always get the first full week off, from working at the school, and we've always wanted to do the food and wine festival. So, I may get do another PTR when I get done with December's TR!!! :woohoo: We're even considering booking it before we come back home. I'm so psyched! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2

Sounds like a plan! ( ... but I'm sure you'll change your mind at some point ... :rotfl2: )

 Hi! Welcome to my PTR. That's great that you're going. It's the most magical time to go to WDW. :santa: Before last year, I had only gone during the summer, since I'm a teacher, but after last year's trip, OH, MAN!!! It's beyond anything I have ever experienced. :santa: I see that you have started a PTR. I'll hop over to your PTR shortly, and we can start comparing notes. Thank you for joining us. :goodvibes

Yay, that is so cool you are leaving a day early! :thumbsup2

Only 73 days away! I can't believe it. That seems so close. We have been looking at flights and have decided to leave early morning on December 22nd. We'll actually be in Florida before 9 in the morning!!!

Right now, we are considering a few options for that day. Most likely, we are going to go to Downtown. This would probably involve also checking out some of the resort decorations. On the other hand, if we decide to get the annual pass, then we'll do Downtown and a park. We are trying to figure out which Downtown restaurant to book a ressie with, just in case. But, we're also cool with winging it.

We're only two weeks away from being less than 2 months!!!! :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

I am planning the same thing, since our first night will be NYE and I have heard the parks are crazy. To go along with my plan for a surprise trip, I did not want a super early flight. I thought it would be nice to resot hop to see the decorations etc.

Great minds think alike! :thumbsup2

I'm watching one of my recordings of the Travel Channel's Disney Holiday Magic episodes. As we get closer, I am sure I will be watching this A LOT! :santa:

We have plans for most of our weekends through Thanksgiving, so time should begin moving faster!!! Then, after Thanksgiving, we'll be working on our church's Christmas play, so before we know it. . .it'll be December 22nd!!! :yay:

I'm sure it will be here before you know it! :goodvibes Those travel channel specials are life savers, aren't they?? :)

Ohh I love the Travel Channel shows! I think we have all of them recorded on DVD. The holiday one is awesome. :goodvibes

So, I've been checking out other threads and came across a thread on picking a pearl. I have seen these before, in Japan and DTD. I really think I will try this, this time. Have any of you ever done this before? I think it would be fun!

I was just thinking the other day that I wished we kept the christmas disney on the DVR.

Well, I'm sure it will be out again, soon. I think they begin reshowing it, typically, in November. So, this time you'll have to record it. My DVR is full of Travel Channel Disney episodes. Check out the Travel Channel's website to see when they might be showing. This way, you won't miss them. :santa:
