I can give better directions for getting around WDW than my own hometown...lol...someone at work the other night asked me for directions and I blundered my way through it and prayed that they got where they were supposed to go...but if they asked about WDW at all, I would be able to give them exact directions...my family is going in Dec. and my in-laws are nervous that we are going to get lost because this will be the first time that they are not totally relying on WDW transportation...no problem I say!

On a similar note....I'm like that around the parks. One of my friends and her DH went the same time we did last year and she just about died that I didn't need a map in any of the parks and could lead anyone anywhere they wanted to go. They finally quit looking at maps and just started telling me where they wanted to go and I led everyone there. Everyone thinks I'm so weird :teeth: ...can't imagine why :goodvibes

I understand totally...
we had friends who were in disney for the first time and were trying to find a particular store, they called me at home and I gave them exact directions there. Lets see me accomplish that at home.

I have exactly the same problem. I can't give directions to anywhere in my home town even though I've lived here for 26 years. Anywhere in Disney I can tell you exactly how to get there.

Umm......I DO NOT Drive, do NOT own a Drivers License, and I know the Disney area BETTER than Miami!::yes:: My DH relies on me to get him anywhere up there, I rely on him for Miami. ;)

I can actually tell you the directions from our house to Orlando, down I-75 and I-4 to the exit. If pushed I could probably give exit numbers too, though I generally go by landmarks. That's sad!
