A Rumblee in my Tumblee Pre-Trip Report

So as you know after spending the night in the ER- I wasn't sure if we would do a Disney Night, but Wayne, Myles and Owen put together a plan, shopped for the food, made the decorations, and made dinner!!
Here is our Muppets Disney Night!

Movie:
The Muppets

Food:
Swedish Chef's Swedish Meatballs
Doc Hoppers Frog Legs (honey bbq chicken wings)
Rizzo the Rat's Rice Pilaf
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew Melon

For Dessert:
Kermit's Rainbow Pie

Activity:
Tonight Wayne and the boys made a stage! The hung up a couple of sheets, and a string of lights, and cut out some stars. Wayne is really good at drawing and he made all the pictures of the different Muppets for Myles to color and we hung them up on the stage.

For the first performance I sang a little song... and then Daddy played the keyboard.

Myles did a stand up act- which was very funny! "Wocka Wocka"

Owen played a song on the Keyboard

We did dog tricks with Daisy for the finale

We are about to go watch the movie now, but I wanted to post some pics! Have a great night.

I wanted to post a couple pictures from yesterday. I took the boys to the park- it was so nice out. Who would have ever thought I would be in such pain a few hours later!!! (can you tell I am traumatized by last night's event?)

So sorry to hear about your night in the E.R. Glad to know you are getting better. I guess it was better to happen then even closer to when you are leaving. It is so close. I am so excited for you. The boys did a great job on disney night, it looks like it was a lot of fun. Rest up and feel better! I'll keep you in my prayers.

OK, I hate to say it, but I think this is one of my favorite Disney nights! Wayne, Myles and Owen really pulled together a great night! HOLY COW, Wayne is talented! I love his drawings!

The pics of the boys at the park are precious. Owen looks so giggly!!

Muppets did look fun Guys party planning -- it has a very different energy than when we do it. And they can pull it off, which always amazes me. Looks like great fun!

I will if we actually do it. My mom and I are also getting pedicures that night so that trumps Disney night if need be.

Yes I guess that is an easy one. I love my mani/pedi's - I am going the saturday before the trip!

thank you- maybe because I am his mom- but I think he just has one of those faces that makes you smile when you look at it. He is always so happy and he these big dimples!

I probably wouldn't try to take Owen. He's not going to be able to do it and he'll likely prevent you from doing it too. BUT....you could try it and get up and leave if you had to. Maybe you could try to time it so that you could take him to Playhouse Disney while Wayne & Miles try it. Or just play on the computers outside where they do the class. Have you been to that building before? That is where you see Sorcerer Mickey, Bolt & the Incredibles. They have computers where you can color in pictures-can't print them or any thing. I think the class is about 30 minutes.

Tonight we had another Great Disney Night thanks to Leanne!! (our really nice DIS friend who sent us her copy of the movie to watch)

Movie: Alice in Wonderland

Food:
We had picnic fare- it was so warm today and sunny, so we made small sandwiches and had that with some lemonade!

The drinks had "Drink me" and the cookies had "Eat me" on them.

Dessert:
Wayne made a "Merry UnBirthday Cake" So Yummy!!!
I made the sugar cookies

Activity:
We hade the rabbit hole that everyone had to go through as they entered the house. The boys loved playing in it and even Daisy loved it! (We had a hard time getting her out of it!)

We played cards too- it was so much fun~

Decorations:
Of course we made it look like a tea party and we made tissue flowers, and put up signs that said "Over there" and "that way". We also hung streamers and set the table for a Merry UnBirthday Party. It looked really cute!

We had a house full tonight. Wayne's mom came over and Wayne's brother and wife came over with their daughter and her friend, and our neighbors came over with their two little girls. It was a really fun night.

Yes everyone loved it but we all decided the ending isnt the best- It's almost as if the movie was getting too long and they were like - we have to end this... ok lets just say it was a dream and now your awake and it's over!

Thank you! Yes I think these Disney Nights will go on... maybe not weekly but who knows!? Plus we will be starting to plan the next Disney Trip soon after we get home from the first!!
