Tonight we had Cars Disney Night.

How fun! Love the traffic light cookies and leaning tower of tires!

Where did you find the Cars zip lock bags?

When I first started reading these boards about a year or so ago I came across this thread.
Post family Disney-theme night ideas HERE! 105 and counting!
http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1707141

It is FILLED with a TON of creative ideas!! After reading about other people's Disney Nights, we started our own and we have had so much fun! It has really helped to pass the time waiting for this trip.

Thank you for the nice words. Wayne and I are the lucky ones to have such amazing kids. I make sure to tell my boys all the time how lucky I am to be their Mommy! :lovestruc

Thank you SO much!! I actually posted this to the Wish Trippers Thread (that's nice told me about it!)...so hopefully the Wish Trippers can get involved in planning cool stuff for their kids to educate them and get excited about Disney!

I am following along and enjoying your pre-trippie! :)

I am along for the ride too!
I am enjoying the reports of your Disney nights immensely, I wish i"d have thought to have done something like that before our trip, it looks loads of fun.

Not long now, you must all be so excited:yay::yay::yay:

Love Mandy

Hi Mandy! (This is Nickie - posting from Wayne's computer)
:cheer2::cheer2:Welcome!:cheer2::cheer2:

We only have three Disney nights left but I think this is something everyone can do to keep the magic even after our trips!!

I look forward to hearing how Becca is doing!- Hoping she is having a good day.:flower3:

:flower3:Happy Easter Everyone!:flower3:

Yesterday we went and saw the Easter Bunny (E.B.)
Easter004.jpg

Then went to my mom's to have dinner with the whole family (My Brother and Sister and they each have two kids) We colored eggs with the kids (all 6 of them under 7) and watched a pretty good Red Sox game (Score was 5/4 - Red Sox winning by one. Bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, bases loaded and my favorite pitcher was on the mound.... Papelbon! The kids were all screaming on the couch- "Go Red Sox" and the ball was hit to far centerfield and .... caught! Game over, Red Sox win! Yahoo!!:cheer2:

Today the boys woke up, looked for eggs, read their letter from E.B. and then opened their baskets. Daddy made us a great breakfast and we went to church. Kids are napping now, and then it's off to Nannies, for Easter Dinner with Wayne's family.

Here are some pics of our Easter. Hope everyone had a great day.

Happy Easter!! Looks like a fun morning!! I wish I would have taken a picture of the pancakes I made....they we're shaped like bunnies! I love your Eeyore jammies! I also had to laugh because the EB hid an egg inside Emily's Converse All-Star shoe too!! The EB brought is Bolt and we have watched it 3 times this morning! I love Rhino!!

Looks like the E.B. stocked up in Bolt stuff this Easter! :rotfl: Myles asked us today "how did he get this at the Disney Store?" (his Rhino) and we said "well, E.B. was at the mall yesterday" and he was like "oh yeah!"

Yuck- I don't like to post pics of myself, (especially in my PJ's!!) but Owen wouldn't let me take a pic of him and Myles unless I was holding him.:rotfl2:

Sounds like you had a great Easter so far, the pictures of Emily are priceless.

Aww, cute Easter Bunny pics. Your boys are so adorable, looks like you guys had a nice morning!! I'm gonna post pics of my girls on their egg hunt and opening their baskets on my pre trippie later too!!

Thank you!! I will have to go check out your Easter Pics! Girls are so much more fun to dress for Easter. I didn't even get my boys Easter outfits this year... I figure I bought them enough for Disney. I think I read on your report how you just wanted Easter over, so Disney would hurry up and be here and I felt the same way. Now onto Disney!!! WAHOOO:banana:

What cute Easter photos!

I had that same navy Polo sweater for my DS when he was little.

I dressed my girls in pants (1 in cords and the other velvet) because it was so cold. At least the sun was out. DS wore a Mickey tie and when we were dying eggs yesterday we used a crayon to write names on the eggs before we dyed them and he put a Mickey on his!

Love your pj's! Those pancakes look fabulous! We had breakfast at church today so no fun food from me. :)

Looks like a fun time! My DD's got Disney $ in their baskets too. You look cute in ur jammies. Those pancakes looked pretty yummy!

I love that navy polo! I had bought this for Myles 4 years ago- Poor Owen- he gets all the left overs!! This one has held up great though.

It was SO cold yesterday- even colder today. I can't believe how fast the trip is coming up now. Pretty soon we will be in sunny Florida with Palm trees, bright blue skies!!!!

Thank you!! - I checked out your pictures- Madeline was so cute!!

ha-ha- thank you!! That E.B. was so smart to put in those disney dollars - it's like getting 2 gifts in 1! ;)

Hey Jill! :cheer2:Welcome!!:cheer2:
I could tell we probably had alot in common just from viewing your Disney Nights!! Hopefully my Pre Trip Report isn't too boring!!! I can't wait to actually write a "Trip Report"!! I hope you will!! I am so jealous- just a week for you. Although... I just started getting a little anxious- like whoa this is coming up really fast!!!

Looks like you guys had an excellent weekend. I love the pic of your oldest on the couch. He was really into that game. Your boys are so cute.

leamom2princesses- So funny that you noticed that- his face CRACKS me up every time I look at -I actually keep going back into those pictures just to look at it because it makes me smile. It just goes to show you - us Boston people are FREAKS about our Red Sox. I remember Myles being only 6 months old or so and waking him up to see the last pitch on the game when we finally won the world series! My husband and I both lost our dad's and growing up all we heard about was how much they wanted to see the Red Sox win the world series- and it never happened for them... so when I had my first baby and it was about to happen- how could I not wake him up to see it!

ok, more info than you probably wanted to know- but thank you for the compliment on the boys!!

Isn't is amazing?? All the planning and dreaming and it's almost here?? I fall asleep each night thinking about it! I had my first "Disney Dream (nightmare) last night:scared1: I was sitting at MK and realized the boys weren't anywhere around me...I couldn't find them anywhere. I ran to the resort, searching and thinking "my mom is going to say " I KNEW you shouldn't have taken the boys by yourself.." " I found them swimming with a bunch of other kids. Then, somehow I was in the pool with no clothes on and had to wait for one of them to bring me a towel, so I could get out without people knowing I was naked. WHAT THE HECK was that all about, do you think??? :rotfl:

Anywhoo..Your ADR's are really similar to ours, too! And you will love POFQ-we had a grand gathering there. The kids were 18 months, 4, 4,and 4 and they all loved the dragon/serpent pool! The bus situation is awesome too!!

Have a good week-we are doing Pizza Planet tonight, so I will post pics on the other thread:)

:yay:

PS-your PTR is NOT boring!!!!!:thumbsup2

Where are you eating? That dream/nightmare was pretty funny!:lmao:

Did the 18 month old go down the slide with a parent? Owen will be 20 months and he is big- and not afraid of anything... I think he might want to go down it! lol but my 5 year old is already saying "no way" - he doesnt like to go under!

Can't wait to see Pizza Planet Pics!
