A Room With a View- Or No?

Hmmm...maybe 10 minutes of 'time-out' is in order, Andy! That means 10 minutes away from the DIS Boards!!! Can you do it???!!!

:)

I'm going back to work now after my morning break, I won't be back on the boards until lunch, that's more than 10 minutes, and I'll be working in the heat(mid 90's today) and humidity(about75%) all day, I think that is punishment enough!!! LOL!!!

Just got in for lunch, punishment is over, I forgot to mention earlier, I had to read 75 curb meters this morning(in the not so nice part ot town), so there was no chance to get in anyones house to cool off. I've got to go jump in the shower and cool off a few minutes, not to mention wash off this grime. LOL!!!

Our 7 night Magic cruise is Sept 20-27th. I think all the obstructed verandah cat 7 cabins hold 3, 7120, 7620, 6134 & 6634.
We are looking forward to our cruise. Seems liked we booked this ages ago, and now we have 73 days to wait.

Yeah, I guess you've been punished enough! LOL

Now back to our original thread, "A Room With a View- Or No?"

Now that it's been determined that 6002 6004 6502 6504 (cat 11's) don't have portholes, can anyone explain what the white indentation on the deck plan actually represent?

CamColt had a good description....by looking at a picture of the outside of the Disney ship you see the break in portholes on deck 6. Right where that white indent is on the deck plan is just under where the captain stands when docking the ship (and therefore that "white indent" looks like some sort of support for the captain's little perch)

Here is CamColts original post on this matter:
"If you look at the picture of the ship on the cover of the DCL brochure(I have the 2000-2002 version), you can see where the room is. On deck 6 forward there is 1 porthole which would be room 6000. Then there is a bit of white metal(or whatever) where rooms 6002 and 6004 would be, but inside. Then more portholes which would start up again with room 6006."

Yes, we booked the full verandah cabin 7120, downgraded to cat 7 because of an obstructed view. The four downgraded cabins are 7120, 7620, 6634 and 6134.

Wanted to enjoy a verandah but still wanted to stay within budget for our 7 night cruise.

Michele

I've also got the 7120 booked on the Wonder!! I learned about it from these boards and Passporter!! What a find!!! When is your trip??? I"d love to hear first hand about the stateroom!!!!!!!!!! :earsboy:
