Sorry to hear about your event! But I am glad to hear your attitude that when you are the most magical place on earth with the person who is the center of your universe, then all will be ok!

I will admit I was horribly upset, but I'm looking at the silver linings here. I learned a lot more about Disney, and different locations in the parks, and got to meet some wonderful people in the process. I also just saved a lot of money on my vacation that can go to other things there, like our dinner at V&A!

I wasn't going to post this on the BC/YC thread, but when I called the IPO they were rather short with me and not at all helpful. I also emailed Joselind, the woman who was planning our special event, however, and she got me an ADR for the perfect time (the IPO called me this morning to confirm!)

Glad you were able to get an ADR you are happy with (do tell, when you have a chance...) but BOO on the negative reaction from the IPO!!! I did not have any previst interactions with the club level planning office. I made all my own reservations and when we checked in they told me "WE can't get times like this!" I don't think they get any special kind of access to reservations. But they can still TRY!!!

We got a 7:40 reservation at California Grill for our last night!

When I originally sent my whole list of requested ADRs to the IPO back in March, they were great and got me everything I requested. It was just in this past week that the attitude turned a bit sour. Though with everything that happened w/ Event planning, I wonder if there isn't a bit of drama in the Mouse House at the moment.

Off to get these teeth removed today... still kind of scared about going under, but it went well last time, so there is not reason to think it won't this time also.

DH got me a few Disney themed "boo-boo-buddies" to use as ice packs on my jaw once we get back home. He's a sweetheart.

Hey everyone. Thank you SO MUCH for you kind words and well wishes.

Surgery went well, they did take out a bit of the jawbone, so I've been in a good deal of pain. We're afraid today I might have a dry socket - though it could just as easily be the "third day pain/swelling"... at least I hope so!

On lots of not so fun drugs, but at least it lets me sleep though the worst of it.

Crossing my fingers that tomorrow is better - the boo-boo buddies (not to mention two kitty furballs who love to cuddle) and a wonderful husband who is trying to spoil me does help a bit.

Good afternoon, everyone, I hope you had an amazing weekend and your Monday is off to a great start.

Here is how I have been spending my days:




(I guess DH was getting creative with the iPhone so the quality is pretty bad, but you can see the Boo-Boo-Belle!)

Sadly, I do have a dry socket in the lower extraction site. Apparently all that means is that I am in extreme pain which all the percocet in the world can't fix. Also, I'm just going to have to deal with it until it passes, which will be about a week. At least it's not something that's life threatening or anything like that. I will find a way to deal.

While sitting in bed trying to catch up on all the work I missed, I found a few pictures I had taken awhile back that don't really fit in with anything else, so I would share them here:

First off, I did dye Easter eggs this year, and took a pic of them with an Easter Stitch DH got me years ago:



Also, I found these adorable bandaids for our trip from Target:




I haven't opened them yet, but it looks like there are a ton of different designs!

And finally, while searching for pins for my Disney/Coach creation, I discovered Vinylmation. Well, Mike did. A monster has been well and truly created. He has been collecting like crazy this past month, and has all the Tron figures, as well as a ton of the Nightmare before Christmas ones.

I, however, found these and purchased three to hang on my purse!



Any guesses which ones I ended up with?

You poor thing, I am cringing in pain just thinking about the dry socket...that has to be hurting...its just such a sensitive area

I am excited to see the vinylmation you got I was hooked after reading someones TR and I cannot wait to trade some on our next trip!

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear you got dry socket! That was one of my worst fears when I got my top 2 wisdom teeth pulled, I practically didn't eat or drink for like 3 days, because I was so afraid of getting it! Hope you feel better soon!

I got those Mickey band aids on my trip last year, they are SO cute! And I can't wait to see your Vinylmations!
