Hi,
I just got back from a long weekend at Disney World. I wanted to visit all the resorts at WDW- and take advantage of the free dining! My home resort was Pop, but here is what I noticed about AS Music:
The rooms were small, with one sink and two double beds.
The walk from the furthest room in building 5/Country Fair (room 5654) was 8 minutes to Melody Hall. The bus stop at Melody Hall is not covered. (A note about my timing of the walk- I did not have kids, stroller, cranky husband or packages, but I am just shy of 5' tall so I do not walk fast).
Of the value resorts, I like the layout of this resort the best. It is easy to find the center of the resort and, hence, to find everything else. (If you look at the map, you'll see what I mean). I got lost the first time I stayed at AS Movies and I was very frustrated.
The gift shop, like all the ones I visited, had your typical souvies (tees, pins, etc) as well as sundries like deoderant, toothpaste, diapers and even items to make sure that your trip next year doesn't include another family member
.
There were life jackets at the pool. The arcade was huge. I found the arcades at the Values bigger than the mods and deluxe.
Laundry was $2 per wash or dry. Detergent and dryer sheets were $1.25. There was a change machine, too.
