Next weekend, the judging will start for the Expedition Everest ride competition. A lot of people across VMK have worked hard on their ride rooms and, as part of the rules, have to keep their Base Camp manned for a total of 50 hours this weekend. Our team has 13 people so we should be able to cover the time, but for those who have only 6 people on their team, they are going to be stretched pretty thin.
The last thing any of us want is for a team to be disqualified because the team member watching over base camp got disconnected just at the moment a staff member showed up to judge them.
This is where the request comes in. What with lots of people going through the room, a ride operating in it and at least two teleporters working (one into the room, one out) those little base camp rooms are going to pushing their nano limits. (or whatever. I can use a computer, but I have no idea how it actually works. LOL)
And while I know that you are all going to be extremely excited about your new bat magic pins this weekend, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use them or any other magic in the base camps. What seems like a simple magic trick to you could be the extra bit of byte to trigger a wave of dc's in the room.
Thank you in advance.
