A Relaxing Holiday! Day 9

Usual routine for me , get our breakfast and heading to the parks this morning.
Upon entering IOA ,DW said to go and see if they had found my Spectacles, so seeing as I, like every other man, do as i am told, went to lost and found, and they had got them,i swear i think shes a witch sometimes.
Rode Spiderman 4 times ,this is Dw favourite ride, done Storm Force, me and DD rode Doctor Doom again , against my better judgement ,not keen on this, then we stopped for some lunch, in Superhero island.
Headed on round to Toon Lagoon, but queues where extremely long , Dudleys was 30mins in the Fastpass, and Popeye was 20mins, Groups where here with Fastpasses so we walked on round the park . DD went on Flying Unicorn, then as we went through Lost Continent she played the game where he has to guess your exact weight, obviously he got it wrong, and she got herself a toy Unicorn. Needing a Caffine injection we got ourselves coffee, then decided on a Cinnabon , love these,that’s why I am dieting again now.
We are eating at Nascar tonight so we. We have run out of suncream so leave the park and go to Walmart at JYParkway, and get some for the next day, as well as the essential nail polish supplies, few scrapbooking pieces, got myself a couple of Tshirts, then head back to get ready for dinner.
We walk from RPR as we enjoy the walk,and get to Nascar about 6:30, so do a bit of window shopping, well I was, cannot say, that was what DW was doing.
We go into Nascar , and order our meal and drinks, should have kept notes of what we ate at the restaurants, but the food was good, even managed a desert.

Then after our meal we go to the Nascar shop as SIL wanted a Nascar hat , so we got him a shirt as well as there was 20% off them.
On the way back we stopped to listen to a group playing at CityWalk, they where very good , IMHO

after a bit more browsing in the shops, and watching the fireworks,[not the best Pic]

we decide its been a long day, and head back to the RPR ,its about 10:30 now ,so its bedtime.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a trip report with photographs. My family and I will be at Universal for 3 nights in mid-October. My 8 year old son and I just went through all your photographs - he has never been to Universal. I have been about 4x, but I have been waiting until he was old enough to enjoy it. (I can't believe I actually said that with a straight face - I really just didn't want him ruining my fun ) Anyway, we had so much fun looking at your photos - they were great.

Lovely report, what was the date of it? Interesting to read and see photos because I think we were there at about the same time. We went 1 to 15 August.

was talking to Phantom , and said you always call in, but thinks you speak a different language Said you had brought some kind of drink over but could not remember the name, take it was Iron Brew.

They definetly do, i lost them the day i was talking to you.
DD had to read the menus out to me so i could pick what i was going to eat, Got some weird looks from people

Your reports are that relaxing, it is making me want to go back and do just the same thing. One holiday doing all the parks and another just at the RP, chillin with a cocktail and just visiting US and Islands with an odd shopping trip. Better get that lottery done.

I sat on that little beach facing out on to the river sipping a tsumani thinking I hope a gator isn't going to jump out of this river. Seriously though sitting on that little beach area made you feel like you were miles away.
