Oh, heck. I feel so silly, but I have a question for y'all seasoned Orlando-goers...
We're off on the 26th April, and as part of the stuff we have planned, we are going to spend a few nights in Pleasure Island and Citywalk.
Thing is, I'm wanting to buy some nice new boots (sort of Chelsea boots) before I go...got the 'running around the theme parks' trainers already...but the boots'll do grand for some evenings out. The boots I want (Brunstone ones) have inner steel-toes caps...how strict are security-type people on dress-codes? I have this dread that they'll use their x-ray vision to see through my steel-toed shoes (although they're externally just Chelsea boots) and send me packing.
See...told you it was silly.
I'm running the London Marathon in 2 weeks and feeling a tad highly strung.
Anyway...just thought I'd ask!

If you are taking them over in your luggage it would possibly be opened and checked if the steel showed up on the scans? I can't see a problem with wearing them out on the eveings though

) vest on and shorts wiv lots of tiny Union Jacks on (worn these for every big race I've done, FLM will be number 10)...so I'll wave to you all if I have the energy.
