first let me start by apologizing for this being soooo long!
my sister works on the cardiac unit at a hospital. a patient died on july 11th and has been haunting the unit since then. some really creepy stuff has been happening! here are a few examples of things happening in what was the dead patients room after his death......
the other man still in the room is paralyzed. he was "seen" getting out of bed with no help. when the nurse went to help, he was laying still, sound asleep.
the doctor was at the bedside and saw a hand reach up to scratch the man's face. his actual arm was still down at his side, under the blanket.
the same man woke up completely COVERED in blood with no explanation. there was so much blood that they threw away the gown and sheets. the nurses said they could have filled a bucket with all the blood.

after moving that man out to another room and closing the haunted room, a chair slid across the room by itself and the bedside tray table was pushed out into the hallway. housekeeping won't go in there at all!! the door keeps opening and closing by itself too.
the hospital chaplain was informed of what's going on and went to bless the room. then he slept in the room that night. nothing more happened the next day. that room is still closed. yesterday a chart flew out of the rack and almost hit a woman in the head standing at the nurses station.
another patient told someone that she has always been able to "see things" and that there is a lot of activity there.
none of the patients on the unit know about any of the stuff happening.
another patient said she had a visitor in the middle of the night who said she used to be a patient there too. of course there are no visitors in the middle of the night. her description fits the description of a young lady that died there a couple weeks ago.
there was also a patient whose nitro drip kept increasing and the nurses couldn't stop it. they changed the pump, but that didn't stop it. just as they began to panic, it slowed back down to normal(by itself) and has been fine since then.

the chaplain said that similar things have happened on this unit. 3 times in the past 11 years, all on the same unit.
in the past, a little boy has been seen riding a tricycle in the hall. another time there was blood soaking the walls. they couldn't get rid of it. it was like it just kept seeping as they cleaned it. they finally had to tear down the walls and replace them!
CREEPY STUFF, HUH??!!! :scared1:

I think someone needs to stay out of the drug cabinet. :lmao:

:lmao: very funny!
this is all true, i swear!!!

I think, if this was indeed true, that it would be all over the media. There is no way with so many people that have knowledge of this nobody would take it public.

JMHO

Where is this hospital? The tricycle event reminds me of The Shining. Bizarre!

they have all been told not to make all this stuff public. my sister wants to call one of those paranormal tv shows or the news but she's afraid of losing her job. the hospital doesn't want the negative press......

It can be true. But just as easily as you don't believe it, what makes you think media coverage is going to believe??

Just remind me to never go to that hospital. I hate ghosts and hauntings and all that other stuff.

The rag mags would be all over that story!

Sounds like it could make an interesting movie! :lmao:

And I agree...the media LOVES this kind of stuff. LOVES IT. Anything bizzare or unusual, they will cover. Especially the tabloids. Makes me wonder if (and when) one of the employees there will sell the story to the Enquierer.

I don't doubt the exsistance of ghosts or poltergeist activity either.

Actually if you go the some of the nursing boards on the web. There are tons of stories like this from nurses everywhere. Most are not so graphic but there is one that I wouldn't even read if hubby wasn't home. It made this sound tame. And there are some that are just the opposite, some really nice things that supposedly happen.

If it got out in the media, especially tabliods, what kind of harm do you think it would have on the reputation of the whole hospital?? People wouldn't want to go there even if they weren't supersticious.

IF that's really happening they should call Ghost Hunters. :)

years ago one of the hospitals I worked at had a "resident" patient on one of the floors, he was a quadriplegic and for some reason he had lived at the hospital, no family, and don't recall the circumstances of why he lived there,
but anyway, after he died, strange things would always happen in that particular room.
It was a single room. the hospital even put a little placque with his name in memory of him on the wall beside the door.

anyway, the things that happened were more along the lines of doors opening and closing, things moving, cold drafts, supplies disappearing right after you would put them down....... creepy but nothing so outrageous.
they ended up changing the room from a patient room to a room for the nurses to tape report. no more patients in there.
but it was a bit creepy.

We haven't heard about it because there is a government cover-up...just like Area 51 has nothing to do with aliens.
