If you have a full loaf of bread and squeeze it on all sides towards the center will the mass change? the volume? the density?

I think the mass will stay the same, and so will the density, but I assume the volume would change. But since Mass divided by volume = density that WOULD change the density....

So in other words I am stuck!

Help Please!:(

Thanks!:D

Excluding the amount of air you squeeze out, the mass will essentially stay the same. Because the same mass is now in a smaller volume, the density has increased. even acounting for the small loss of mass of the air particle, the density still is increased because you removed less dense air so the average density went up.

Thanks, that makes sense to me.

I just love the DIS everyone is so helpful and knowledgable!

Thanks TLK!!!:bounce: :) :bounce:
