Well, we arrived back in Nova Scotia late last night after a wonderful ten day trip to WDW. Here are just a few highlights of our trip.
The cast included,
Darrell, Father and 7th trip.
Debbie, Mother and 7th trip.
Daniel, Son and 6th trip.
Air Canada were excellent, all of our flights were early, and the planes almost looked like new. Everyone was friendly and very helpful overall.
The weather was great with temperatures in the low 80's, with little to no rain at all. Certainly better than expected!
The Dolphin was just great. We had a 5th floor room with a balcony overlooking Epcot, the Yacht and Beach Club, and Disney's Boardwalk. (5-027 was the actual room number)
The mugs were a great buy for us and we used them often. The only item to note was that coffee is free for use but tea cost $1.60. Having a mother who really enjoys hot tea, it really adds up. While we were there, it was packed with a "Kinko's" convention going on and almost everyone seemed to have a Kinko's tag around their neck.
They did have to evacuate at least part of the Dolphin around 10:30 one night as sirens started going off and announcements saying that there was an emergency, and that everyone had to leave the hotel at once.
Test Track was down for the first few days of our trip, however we did get to ride it twice before we left, thanks to the singles line.
My father was just a little bit worried about going on RnR.
However by the end of the trip, he found he liked it so much we went on it eight times.
We ate at Hollywood and Vine which was very good, with a nice selection of food. I didn't like it quite as much as Chef Mickey's, but still a nice experience. Tubbi's and the Dolphin Fountain were both favorites with us as well.
We ate at a few other interesting restaurants, however they were mainly offsite.
We met quite a few DIS'ers including having lunch with Debi, and PatrickIL and his wife. We also had the opportunity to do E-Night with Jules. (WDWfanatic288) They were a very nice family indeed. We also got to meet SideShowBob during our stay, and I was able to speak to CathyCanada and Pete on the telephone.
Jules and I saw JohnTBap on the Haunted Mansion, and were walking through the exit to Space Mountain when we saw RhondaS. Too bad we didn't have time to chat. We also met a bellhop at the Dolphin who is a DIS'er, I believe he said his name was Tim.
That is about it on our Disney vacation. It went by too quickly, and we are planning again for March of 2004.
Have a great day!
Daniel
