A question

The two biggest "attack dogs" in politics are James Carville and Jesse Jackson.. both democrats.

I'll agree with you on Carville, but I wouldn't put Jesse Jackson in the same grouping. Yes, he's an "attack dog", but most of the time, it seems that he's attacking for his own agenda, not the Democratic party's.

Since this "debate" never met the criteria, please restate the issue using the proper format. We can just continue this discussion on the CB.

Thanks!

**sigh** I miss Nikole :(

I think that much of the impact on the economy rests squarely on Clinton's shoulders due to his foreign policy blunders.
He should have addressed Iraq, Korea, Al Quedao when it was in front of him but he punted it down the road to the next president.
BINGO! Bush wasn't in office very long before numerous stuff hit the fan. And he wasn't in office long enough to be the one to have messed up on those issues. Clinton left a mess!

You have a good point about Jesse "HI" Jackson

Children can watch the news about their president without learning about oral sex and adultery.

They'll just have to learn about it at school instead.

Yes. Children now have a president they can look up to and respect.

Children can watch the news about their president without learning about oral sex and adultery.

AMEN.

I have to share that my 14 year old niece and her friends insist that oral sex is NOT really sex and that there is a lot to do between oral and regular. But, I didn't ask what in fear of what I would be told. My best friend teaches 8th grade and she says they have the same attitudes as my niece! I had a LONG chat with her at WDW Jan 2003 :)

OK, let's for the time being suspend reason and assume that presidents actually have the power to affect economies. In June of 2002 I could no longer find a contract because of the Clinton-inspired recession. (remember, presidents cause these things). In September, 2002 I had three interviews lined up when the clinton-inspired tragedy happened. (He should have done something about al-qaida during the 8 years he was in office - he left notes about them to his successor rather than actually doing anything) The three interviews came to nothing obviously and I didn't work for 9 months. Since then I have found a good job and we are starting to get back on our feet. Yes We are better off with Bush in office.

OK, back to reality:

Presidents really can't do much if anything about the economy, the bubble would have happened regardless and the subsequent fallout was inevitable. However presidents can do something about avowed enemies of the USA who would think nothing of killing you, I or our children. I am proud to have someone in the White House who is willing to stand up for us against all those people around the world who have vowed to destroy us and our way of life. George Bush is doing an incredible job and I back him 100%

Another amen to BobNC's comment!

And what happened to Nikole?
