A question that has probably been asked a million times

It's about transferring points. Okay...if you have a September use year and I have an April use year and you transfer points to me, then they keep your use year and home resort right???

If yes, then why when I check the points transferred in to my account via the member's website does it have the points in my April 2005 use year???? Am I still going to be able to use these to book in June??

It sounds to me las if the points were deposited to your 2005 use year. If so, you need to bank those pts in order to use them after the end of your use year(March 30 for an April use year)

Points are supposed to retain their home resort identity and use year. I have had transfered points change their home resort but not use year This continues to be a common problem due to issues with the DVC computers (as told to me here on the Dis and by the manager that I had to deal with to get my points changed back to their origianal resort).

Call MS tomorrow and ask them to take a look at it. If anything needs to be fixed they will work with you but it may take some time.
