A question - if WDW wasn't in Orlando...

...would you still go there? I was just thinking about the reason why we go to Orlando and why we love it so much. Although i do enjoy WDW, I think we would still want to go if it was just Universal etc. and no Disney.

For us it is the whole package. We usually stay offsite and hire a car. We visit all of the WDW parks, US/IOA and Seaworld. We also visit Celebration, Old Town and the malls and outlet parks and of course Walmart. We probably would visit just not so many times.

No, I don't think I'd bother if there wasn't WDW, if I want beaches I'll go to the caribbean, If I want wildlife I go to Africa, so can't see what I'd go there for!

I'm not sure. We love the whole package in Orlando, not just WDW. We love US, SW, old town etc. However, without WDW???? maybe not .

Yes, I think we probably would.

Whilst we love WDW , there is so much more to Florida and have always thought of our holidays being 'Florida' one's rather than 'WDW' one's.
Besides, we are massive Universal fans, then there is Sea World, all the beaches, relaxing at the villa, and shopping too....plus travelling and seeing other bits of Florida, it is not just about Orlando for us.

Get as much fun watching Joshua play in the pool than I do going to any theme park.

I would still go to florida for universal etc and the shopping without wdw,

now if they moved wdw to europe (ie france ) I would never go to wdw again, (had an absolute horror of a triponce to dlrp)

I couldnt imagine wdw any where else though lol so its a good job its in florida!!!lol

We would probably still go for Universal Orlando Resort and Discovery Cove, but as a city I do not like Orlando. I don't really see the attraction of Florida as a state either. As Carol said, there are better beaches etc. elsewhere.
