A question for Vistana Resort experts!

I know that the check in time for the Vistana is 4:00, but has anyone been able to check in earlier than that? We will be arriving at the airport about 11 a.m. and renting a car. I figured we will get to the Vistana some time after 12:00. Should we try to check in at that time or wait a while? I thought that even if we couldn't check in yet we might be able to find out what section we'll be in. Thanks for your help.

go check in - I arrived at 8am and checked in

your villa may not be ready. then you need to go to the parks or shopping.

Ours was ready!!!

the 4pm time means that your villa probably won't be ready until 4pm.

I'd check in and you may get lucky that they have your unit ready. If not, you can always check out the resort and go swimming. Make sure you sign up for Diamond Lane check-in before you arrive. MUCH shorter checkin lines.

In the past 10 years or so of staying at Vistana, we've checked-in prior to the 4 pm posted check-in time just about every time. About 50% of the time we've actually been able to get into our villa prior to 4 pm. This past August we got into our villa at 2 pm. I think the earliest we ever got into our villa was 1 pm.
I'd check-in and even if your room isn't ready, Bell Service will store your luggage for you so you can go to the parks---perishables included. Have a nice stay. I second the Diamond Lane check-in lane :

Hi ... I think if your room is ready they let you check in at anytime of the day ... we arrived at 11:30am and checked in ... that was great Good Luck

We checked around 11:00, we not able to get out unit, but waited because it was in cascades near the pool area. We felt it was better to wait then get something else.

We got there about 10 after our Disney cruise. Wanted to check in early but we asked for a unit close to the pool and ended up having to wait until 4 for that unit. Our choice though, and we were happy with it.
