A question for Tyler

I've been searching the boards but can't seem to find what I need so I decided my best option is to just ask an expert....Tyler!

1.We're staying at AKL. We have dinner reservations at EPCOT one night and most probably will head to BW after. What's the best way back to AKL?

2. How late do the buses run between PI and AKL? Or is there a better means of transportation late in the evening?? Taxis??

I'm not Tyler but I'll give your questions a shot, and he can correct me if I'm wrong.

1.) Best way to AKL from the Boardwalk is either to take the boat to MGM (if it's still open) and transfer to an AKL bus. Or, take a bus to PI/DTD and switch to an AKL bus there.

2.) Busses I believe run until 2 hours after PI closes. But I could be completely wrong about that.

I agree with Dan on both questions re Disney transportation.

As far as a better way, I would personally opt to take a taxi to the AKL from the BW.

A taxi would be relatively quick and cost about $12- $15 (incl a tip). The bus trip with a DD transfer could easily take well over an hour. After a long day and an evening of fun on the BW, the last thing I want to do is wait for buses or even ride on them!

A cab will take approx 15 minutes and I probably wouldn't have to wait for one. There is a taxi stand just acrtoss the street form the BW and they come very quickly when the valet calls for them!

The buses from PI actually run til 2:00 a.m. I am sure they have some stragglers afterwards but I know they don't run for two hours after they close.

1 - Depends. If the Studios or Epcot are open, catch the bus from there. You can take the boat to the Studios or walk through Epcot. Otherwise, using Disney Transport, you'll need to go to Downtown Disney and transfer there. Or you could just take a cab.

2 - Last bus from PI is at 2:00am.
