A Question for Tyler, or anyone else who may know...

how would I get back to the Boardwalk from the Wilderness Lodge, after 10PM? I'm going to call tomorrow to see if I can get a reservation for a sleigh ride at either 9 or 9:30. We won't have a car. We will take the boat over, from the Magic Kingdom when it closes, eat dinner at the WL, then do the sleigh ride, but I don't know the best way back to our resort. Should we take the bus to Downtown Disney and then take the Boardwalk bus. Will the boat still be running to go back to the MK, then take our bus back to BW? Can we catch the Epcot bus, from the WL, to Epcot, then walk or take the boat to BWV? Thanks!

I'll post the answer anyways, in case inquiring minds want to know.

Theme parks make the best transfer points, however, after they close, Downtown Disney becomes the only choice. So, if MK will not be open for a MVMCP, then hop on the DTD bus and transfer there. Be sure to read all signs at DTD, as sometimes the Boardwalk bus is a separate bus than the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht & Beach. If unsure, ask someone wearing purple pants.

We are doing something similar on November 30th-We have a 9:00 p.m. reservation for a sleigh ride and are staying at the BCV. To be honest, I think we will be tired after a full day at the MK so we are just going to take a cab back. It seems the simplest way. I know we could wait for a bus to Downtown Disney, but we're just going to cab it.
