I am a DVC member and an associate member on my daughter's membership as well as my son's membership. All three memberships have the same use year and the same home resort(Old Key West). We would like to try a Grand Villa for 5 nights. Each of their contracts are small and not enough for a 1 night reservation.
Would I as the associate member be able to book the 5 nights with one call to Member Services using their points first and then my points to complete the transaction. Anyone have an answer? Thanks if you do.:wizard:

Each of their contracts are small and not enough for a 1 night reservation.
Points can not be combined from multiple memberships to make a single night reservation unless points are transfered into one of the membership accounts.

As to booking stays using points (for complete nights) from multiple memberships:
If you are calling right when your 11 month booking window opens, it would require three calls. Each reservation will be separate and you would call based on the booking window by check-in date. Once all reservations are made, they can be linked so you won't have to check-out/in between each segment.

If not, then you would have to transfer from their memberships to yours to be able to do that. . Anyone have an answer? Thanks if you do.:wizard:

Need confirmation though on that 2nd part.

You are limited to one transfer in or out per use year. Only current year points can be transferred (but future years can be transferred into future years - but it counts as your one transfer that year). You cannot borrow transferred points, but you can bank them.

If their two contracts together aren't enough for a single night, you wouldn't be able to use one of them for your GV. If they were enough for a single night together, you could use them to make the one night. But you couldn't use any left over points to add to your points (they already used their one transfer in or out).

Can you reserve an entire night from at least one of the smaller contracts by borrowing points from the next use year? If so, you could reserve a GV night that way and then transfer the points from the other small contract to yours.

Maye that will be enough to get you the 5 nights you want. You can get MS to link the two reservations so you do not have to move.

Good luck!
