I heard an ad on the radio the other day about a store in our town that does custom fitting of bras. I was thinking of getting a gift certificate for my DW for Christmas for one. Would you like it if you recieved this from your DH? Of course I would get her other things too, not just this!;) She's always complaining her bras don't fit right.

I think it would be a good idea. Especially if she does complain about the fit, and you are going to get her something else.

If that is a problem for her, then I think its a great idea. Very thoughtful. :D

I would love it...I never find any that fit right.

I would love it! I went to the "Bra Lady" in our area before (that's the name of her business :p ) and I loved it!!!! The two bras I bought from her were my all time favorites. They were extremely comfortable and very flattering. I think it's a great idea! I bet she will love it!!! :D :D

I would LOVE that as a gift! As someone who is more endowed than I would like, I know that finding a bra that fits right and is comfortable seems impossible. If someone were to provide expert assitance, I think that's a great idea!

What a thoughtful gift. Not all men would think to do this for their wives.

I'm one who can buy off the rack, one of the lucky ones, I guess. I personally would not get much use out of this gift, but if your wife has complained about the fit before, it would probably be very much appreciated.

Sounds like I have one gift done! Thanks ladies! One question: How much does a custom fit bra cost?

I would guess anywhere from $35.00 to $50.00, depending on the style she chooses. I am a difficult to fit size. I was fitted for 2 bras, one a sports bra and one a dressy bra that could be used strapless or cross strapped etc. Both bras cost almost $100.00 , but it was the best money I ever spent. I know your wife will love the gift if she has a problem finding comfortable bras. :D

I would love that! I would caution you that your wife needs to be of a certain personality to like it. The lady who does the fitting will handle her breasts and leave her no modesty. Personally, that doesn't really bother me, but I know some women who would hate it.

My sister got one a a gift from her MIL and she said it was the best bra she ever owned. I think it cost about $50.00.

I hope she likes it.

A good quality bra will run you $25.00 and up anyway!

I think it's a great gift! I wish there was something like that in my town!

I figured it would be about $50.00. Thanks ladies! Got any other good ideas for a Christmas gift for the DW who has everything?

First Big V, I have to commend you for not only listening to your wife but actually HEARING what she says. I'm very lucky that my husband is a great listener and conscious of what's going on with me. You would be surprised at how many women are not that lucky, so you are a rarity! To me that makes your gift a very thoughtful, and by the sounds of the posts, wonderful gift.

Does your wife like going to the spa? Does she like manicures or pedicures? Lot's of spas have wonderful day treatments, so maybe this would be a good gift or maybe a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure.

I think your doing fine picking out gifts anyway.

Thanks Markshaw! I have given her a couple of gift certificates for massages already and she likes them, but I'd like to do something different too.

I totally agree with markshaw.

I think giving any woman a reason to shop they will love!! :)
Oh yes a quick stop to Tiffanys is also nice!!;)
