My sister has a one child. When she was born she had alot of hair on her head. More than normal. She is three now and has double the hair of anyone her age. She also has hair on her back, nuckles, and even above her lip. It is light but you can see she will be very hairy. My question is when she was four months old my sister noticed hair in her private area. Not alot but it was noticeable. It is a soft hair but my sister was very upset by it. She went to the doctor who referred her to an endocrinologist. They did blood testing and said she looked fine. Now she went for her three year check up and the doctor noticed more hair growth. He thinks everything is fine but he wants her to go back to the other doctor to follow up on it. He said in all his years of practicing he has only seen about three kids with this. She is Italian. They say it is more common in children from European countries. She is also half Irish. I told my sister I would put this question out to see if anyone else has had this problem. She knows everything will be fine but she still worries. Her growth is fine. No other changes have happened.
). The first is as blonde as can be, blue eyes, etc. The middle has light brown hair and hazel eyes. The youngest has black hair, brown eyes and hair almost everywhere -- on her upper lip, back, legs. The hair on her head is also very thick. The others have relatively thin hair on their heads and very fine hair on their legs.
