Me and a friend are going to Disney World between November & December of this year.We already have tickets for Mickeys Christmas Party and looking forward to the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. We're hoping to be able to get a spot where the Christmas Tree & Flag Pole are. Is that a reserved area for VIPs or is it open to all guests? I was thinking that we see the last parade of the night to increase our chances of avoiding major crowds in that area. Any info you guys can tell me will be greatly appreciated. :)

That area is open to all guests. If you sit in front of the tree in what is known as the "tear drop" area, you can view the parade as it comes towards you and then will turn at that point.

Beautiful view with the Castle in the background and the parade in the midst of the Christmas decor-filled Main Street!

That's EXACTLY why we wanted to be at that spot!!!! LOL. I wanted to film the parade coming at us from a one point perspective, I've filmed in various different viewpoints except this one. Thanks for the info, can't wait!!!!!

Enjoy!! We waiting over 2 hours in that spot, for the 1st parade of the night, to watch our CM friend come up Main Street on the 1st float ~ best Disney memory ever! :)

Thanks everybody for your insights. I've seen YouTube clips of what the last Christmas parade looks like and the crowds were more manageable, which was why I wanted to make sure we'd be able to get a spot there for that last parade of the night. I'm already planning for us to get there a couple hours early to get a good spot.
