Hi, I was just wondering about the car seating at the Sci Fi, my husband is kind of a large guy and I was wondering if the seating is roomy or tight? I know it sounds silly but I want to be sure he will be comfortable while we are dining. Thanks for the help!

I think it should be ok. If not in the car, I believe there are seats behind the car (may be wrong on that) and there are tables and chairs towards that back and side.

I thought the cars felt pretty cramped, but that could just be because we were sharing a car with a family we didn't know.

As I remember them, the cars aren't too roomy, but I think it would depend on how your husband feels about them when he sees them (I'm probably smaller than him at 5'9"). As Terk-1 mentioned, there are regular tables and chairs toward the back of the restaurant if the car doesn't work out for him.

I think, if you are over 300 lbs. and where your weight in your midsection, you will have a tough time. Other than that, it fits most everyone.

I'm 6' 1" and 225 lbs. and have enough room in the cars. I wouldn't say they are overly spacious though.

Thanks for the help everyone! Glad to know there are tables as well just in case!

I'm pretty tall (6'3") and I fit just fine in the regular tables. If your husband can fit in a standard restaurant booth, then he would probably be fine. The tables are about half the width of a typical restaurant booth table, but the seat is a standard distance from the table. There are a few accessible tables with regular chairs, where the table is facing sideways (not facing the screen). These seat six and have plenty of room for a wheelchair to fit in, so a large person would probably do well here also. There are also picnic tables in back (with no backrest) that look very uncomfortable and which I wouldn't recommend.
