I have sailed from Manhattan 3x, each time it was for a single cruise. I have always parked right at the terminal. The experience was efficient and convenient. You pay upon arrival. They ask the ship name. All the cruises have been for 7 nights. You prepay the $280 and they direct you to where to park. They have never given anything to me to leave in the car other than a proof of payment that you give to the next attendant. Every time car's have been leaving with prior passengers as the car's arrive with the new passengers. As far as I can tell it is indistinguishable what cars belong to arriving and departing passengers.
This fall I am sailing a B2B on the Magic out of NYC. How will parking know that my car will be there for 2 weeks? I want to make sure my car will still be there when I get back. Has anyone sailed a B2B from Manhattan before? Were there any special instructions?
