A question about ressies and receiving confirmation in the mail

I made my ressies for October and at the time wasn't sure which Resort we would choose, so I went ahead and booked AKL and got prices for a moderate and value. After talking to my DH that evening with prices, we decided on the value resort with FTP, so I called and changed it. When I recieved my confirmation it listed our resort as AKL. I went ahead and sent my deposit.

My question is - Will I receive anything that says they received my deposit?? And - will I receive anything that confirms my change in resorts??

Who did you book the original reservation through? WDTC or CRO?

You may have just received the print out of the original ressie that already went out in the mail when you changed over to the FT package?

When you booked the FT package did you receive a new reservation number or did they just change the original reservation?

The FT packages are booked through WDTC. Is this who you made the deposit to?

Yes, I booked through and also sent the deposit to WDTC. When I changed the ressie, they didn't give me a different #, just changed the resort.

You should probably receive an updated confirmation in the mail with your FT package and resort listed on it.

It may or may not show your deposit-if they crossed in the mail then it won't.

You can always call WDTC to confirm that they show the FT package for the resort you chose, verify the dates and also verify that they received the deposit. You can request that they send you an updated confirmation that shows the deposit.
